Hi Fazer71

I will be flying out of Gatwick 07.30am tomorrow..

I doubt I shall be flying over gaff. but I will be flying over other peoples gaffs.

I can hardly complain about aircraft flying over my place.

Does simplify it for you.

As for your feeble attempt at sarcasm..

2/10

But like the planes it goes right over my head.

DulwichFox

Ah confirmation you are beyond help.

You're a narcissistic fool.

As you struggle fyi

Narcissistic Personality Disorder is characterized by a long-standing pattern of grandiosity (either in fantasy or actual behavior), an overwhelming need for admiration, and usually a complete lack of empathy toward others. People with this disorder often believe they are of primary importance in everybody?s life or to anyone they meet. While this pattern of behavior may be appropriate for a king in 16th Century England, it is generally considered inappropriate for most ordinary people today.

No need the flights into Heathrow do a great job.

Fyi incase you missed my post edit above

I am probably the very least Narcissistic person you could ever meet.

I have very little ego.

Do not seek (need) other peoples praise.

Do not seek to impress (unless I'm performing my magic tricks)

Do not laugh at my own jokes.

Do not belittle or insult others.

So Fazer71, I think you are confusing me with some other poster.

DulwichFox.

PS. I'm going to miss all this s**t for the next 2 weeks.

DF

DF

You could have fooled me.

Your holiday is blessing for us, better than a treatment of in thread Canesten Cream Duo.

You have zero respect or sympathy those of us suffering from very real high levels of aircraft noise.

Your contribution to this thread is blatant Flame Trolling ..

I and I'm sure others interested in this thread will not miss your nonsense, it's a pity you can't go for longer, a lot longer.!

Bye bye have fun on your bubble holiday no doubt an extension of you ED narcissistic illusion.

Magic that ,,, Canesten not required for 2 weeks. :)

Reading through this thread I notice how many other people you have insulted.

Calling people morons and East Dulwich morons.

There are others that do no think there is a major problem.. but you seem to have singled me out to

have a pop at..

And now I have an ED narcissistic illusion. because I take a holiday.

I think you may need to take a closer look at yourself rather that having a pop at others..

I've had a good look and I see someone who has been dealing with morons and narcissists over the issue of aircraft noise!

If you and other have NO problem WHY then do you insist on posting on this and other aircraft noise threads?

Maybe ask yourself that simple question ?

Enjoy your holiday ... take a book on logic .. and humanity .. and narcissism ..

You are clearly confused about what you have done in this and other threads and very confused about my behaviour here!

Thanks for posting.

Looks almost beautiful!

HP

Stacks go not circle above East Dulwich,

They are a lot bigger than that.

And people are of course aware of that.

The alignment of the runways dictate the approach path.

And the wind naturally affects the north South alignment

And ED being approx 15 miles from Heathrow

Dictates the approach height with all the engine thrust

Adjustments we can all hear.

Because planes tend to take off and land into the prevailing wind which is generally from the west. On take off it's free speed effectively for lift, and on landing it helps slow down.

Dealing with the morons on here I'll end up there sooner than I should.

Can you people find nothing but other peoples misery to make fun from.

Mental people have bigger problems than me using a mental intuition to express my despair with narcissistic arrogant people who have zero empathy.

So as with the others. Keep on topic please. !

Fwiw the topic is aircraft noise.. Not I am Deaf.

I would like to see the pre 2010 version of that map !

I can guarantee you that the bit which covers ED was over the Thames

IE it didn't impact us as it does now !

Edit to ADD

I don't trust heathrow to provide any data which would show that the flight path has changed as it's not in their interest.

From last meeting they just played dumb.

Kept scratching their heads trying to understand why complaints has gone through the rooooof !

Something isn't right and they "Heathrow" are not providing the true info.!

Your continual insistence on calling people morons and making light of mental illness is really doing you no favours. Most people aren't bothered by the aircraft noise and don't consider it a problem. That doesn't make them morons, it just makes them people with a different opinion to you.

It's somewhat hypocritical of you to tell people to stay on topic and then to try and shut down any discussion that doesn't support your dubious stance.

If you don't like areoplane noise (or other noise) then move out and away from ONE OF THE BIGGEST CITIES in the WORLD! Blimey its not Rocket Science and I bet your not complaining when your one of those fortunate people who is returning on you nice Holiday abroad on an AEROPLANE!

I rest my case .... Morons.

I'll try to explain AGAIN!!

A thread has a subject THIS threads subject is "Aircraft noise -"

OP SAID "Does anyone know if there has been change in terms of London flight paths, last night we heard plane after plane never heard them at ours before ?~"

SO it began with a problem with Aircraft noise

not NO Aircraft noise

not Go and live where there is no Aircraft noise

not I can't hear Aircraft noise

not Why do you have a problem with Aircraft noise

ETC ETC ETC

Look at it in the following way....

This thread is like a little party let's say this party is an ORGY ... Advertised as an ORGY and all about being an ORGY....

But the door is open an a bunch of Mormons come into the party and begin saying STOP NO SEX we don't agree with SEX and this ORGY must STOP because we are Mormons and don't agree with you being allowed to have an ORGY ...

Only in this thread it's not an ORGY it's about Aircraft noise ...

And we who want an conversation about Aircraft noise

ARE DEALING with MORONS not Mormons ...

DO YOU UNDERSTAND ????? you are MORONS ?????? and NOT Mormons ?????

    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
    • That is also a Young's pub, like The Cherry Tree. However fantastic the menu looks, you might want to ask exactly who will cook the food on the day, and how. Also, if  there is Christmas pudding on the menu, you might want to ask how that will be cooked, and whether it will look and/or taste anything like the Christmas puddings you have had in the past.
    • This reminds me of a situation a few years ago when a mate's Dad was coming down and fancied Franklin's for Christmas Day. He'd been there once, in September, and loved it. Obviously, they're far too tuned in to do it, so having looked around, £100 per head was pretty standard for fairly average pubs around here. That is ridiculous. I'd go with Penguin's idea; one of the best Christmas Day lunches I've ever had was at the Lahore Kebab House in Whitechapel. And it was BYO. After a couple of Guinness outside Franklin's, we decided £100 for four people was the absolute maximum, but it had to be done in the style of Franklin's and sourced within walking distance of The Gowlett. All the supermarkets knock themselves out on veg as a loss leader - particularly anything festive - and the Afghani lads on Rye Lane are brilliant for more esoteric stuff and spices, so it really doesn't need to be pricey. Here's what we came up with. It was considerably less than £100 for four. Bread & Butter (Lidl & Lurpak on offer at Iceland) Mersea Oysters (Sopers) Parsnip & Potato Soup ( I think they were both less than 20 pence a kilo at Morrisons) Smoked mackerel, Jerseys, watercress & radish (Sopers) Rolled turkey breast joint (£7.95 from Iceland) Roast Duck (two for £12 at Lidl) Mash  Carrots, star anise, butter emulsion. Stir-fried Brussels, bacon, chestnuts and Worcestershire sauce.(Lidl) Clementine and limoncello granita (all from Lidl) Stollen (Lidl) Stichelton, Cornish Cruncher, Stinking Bishop. (Marks & Sparks) There was a couple of lessons to learn: Don't freeze mash. It breaks down the cellular structure and ends up more like a French pomme purée. I renamed it 'Pomme Mikael Silvestre' after my favourite French centre-half cum left back and got away with it, but if you're not amongst football fans you may not be so lucky. Tasted great, looked like shit. Don't take the clementine granita out of the freezer too early, particularly if you've overdone it on the limoncello. It melts quickly and someone will suggest snorting it. The sugar really sticks your nostrils together on Boxing Day. Speaking of 'lost' Christmases past, John Lewis have hijacked Alison Limerick's 'Where Love Lives' for their new advert. Bastards. But not a bad ad.   Beansprout, I have a massive steel pot I bought from a Nigerian place on Choumert Road many years ago. It could do with a work out. I'm quite prepared to make a huge, spicy parsnip soup for anyone who fancies it and a few carols.
    • Nothing to do with the topic of this thread, but I have to say, I think it is quite untrue that people don't make human contact in cities. Just locally, there are street parties, road WhatsApp groups, one street I know near here hires a coach and everyone in the street goes to the seaside every year! There are lots of neighbourhood groups on Facebook, where people look out for each other and help each other. In my experience people chat to strangers on public transport, in shops, waiting in queues etc. To the best of my knowledge the forum does not need donations to keep it going. It contains paid ads, which hopefully helps Joe,  the very excellent admin,  to keep it up and running. And as for a house being broken into, that could happen anywhere. I knew a village in Devon where a whole row of houses was burgled one night in the eighties. Sorry to continue the off topic conversation when the poor OP was just trying to find out who was open for lunch on Christmas Day!
