Such a friendly crowd at Horniman's yesterday!

Spent most of the day in the gardens of the Horniman's yesterday- what a lovely day! All the Mums, Dads and Grandparents where all so friendly- what a nice crowd!

I've just signed up for the membership at the museum as my toddler loves the fishes :-)

I've noticed since the Overground started at Forest Hill how much more busier the museum and gardens are all year round.

Horniman Park across the road was packed full of kids when we had the spring weather earlier in the week.

We went to visit the walrus when he went on holiday to Margate. He just didn't look right in another setting.

I like seeing my girls looking authentic walrus and remembering being awestruck by it myself when I was a kid.

Nice post ;) Horniman is great indeed! We were there on Sunday - a great crowd then too.

It's a great opportunity for me to ask if there are any Other Hungarian mums/families in the area - would love to meet some.

If you go on a Saturday Morning you can visit the farmers market, by the bandstand, some lovely stuff on sale there!

The Horniman Museum also do really excellent Late Night events for over 18s. There was an interesting taxidermy event and demonstration last year!

Because a) I'm a grumpy bastard, and b) I hate it when people are overly positive for the sake of being positive and don't accept any criticism, labelling it as people being negative.

My kids' favourite exhibit (and mine) was a stuffed Aye Aye, a sort of Lemur, bat, dog thing. It's not there now, I think it must have fallen apart.
