Dealing drugs brings misery to people, those who deal and those who buy. It wasn't that long ago that a petty drug dealer was murdered on an East Dulwich Street.

It's really difficult to know what to do when you witness drug dealing and easy to turn a blind eye.

Is there a consensus as to what should be done.

Ah, there are plenty of those still around... *taps nose*

Hmm... the oldest policeman's trick in the book... the old 'PM me their number' sting..

The number used to be 999 (ask for the drugs squad at East Dulwich Police station - they used to be able to sort you out).

Not sure what it is now.

Ah I did wonder why we never saw the local police on the streets

of East Dulwich much...they were too busy doing business!!

xxxxxxx

:))

A friend of mine went to score some dope from a dodgy place in charing cross road in the early 90's, he said he was quite drunk and once inside the premesis this huge guy forced him to eat a live goldfish, honest it's true, he told me the guy said if you dont eat it were gonna mess you up, real bad, so they fished it out of the tank and made him drink the thing down in one. I laughed when he told me about it, there are some crazy people around.

My brother swallowed a live gold fish once. I thought about putting it on the thread about the worst thing you ever ate, but remembered that it it was drug related and didn't.

I remember that he said the fish went down tail first and it tried to swim back up. made me heave.

It was in the 80's.

Sick buggers.

    • I am  ill in bed with Covid. It's not that I "can't be bothered" to read things. I am feeling crap and don't have the mental  energy at the moment. I am not "brushing stuff aside and pleading ignorance." I am truthfully saying when I don't presently know enough about something to be able to comment. I have always been very careful to try to  differentiate between fact and opinion in both  my posts and other people's, and I am not clear what your point is. And I am certainly not trying to wind anybody up. This is a forum. If you don't want to respond to my posts, that's up to you. I'm not sure why you feel the need to announce it.
    • @NewWave I know how you feel. Like you, I've lived and spent prolonged periods of time in some pretty crazy places and always thought I could handle a bunch of kids. But, no - they got to me and I was shaking like a leaf afterwards. That's what age does to us.  But I did engage with them, so bear that in mind.  My advice would be to never let anything like that stop you doing the things you love. I'm certainly not going to stop using the park, there's no way they get to take away our cherished spaces!  If you see them, just change tack and keep out of their way. My dog won't even go that way again, so that's that problem solved. (If I see them again, I'm going to keep taking photos from a safe distance).
    • Truly horrific. Being passive or fighting back is what many of us think about by violent theft.
    • What ridiculous waste of money
