Keef
Did people used to have "toy day" on the last day of term in primary school? I loved it, except when my Optimus Prime got stolen!Highlight was a sword fight between me and a friend, when we both took in the "Sword of omens" B) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6034-boys-roomno-girls-allowed/page/2/#findComment-193929 Share on other sites
bigbadwolf
Yep, we had toy day Keef. Eliot bank primary school. We had a boy called Harry who brought a set of handcuffs in and guess who managed to cuff themselves to a chair for half the day. Mikecg
We would need quite a few power supplies Mike but we could plug them in strategically around the route. snorky
I think a deactivated AK47 is the ultimate bots toy ( hint- you can buy the guts that make it live, in Albania for $10)http://www.helstongunsmiths.com/shop/images/203.jpgI prefer the folding stock model, as it makes it easier to pull it out &surprise the queue at Willima Rose at 10AM on Saturday. See the smiles on their faces when you tell them its decatived. Hours of fun.Little mess. Tony.London Suburbs
I used to give Scalextrix demonstrations as part of my Saturday Morning job at Gamages in Hatton Garden (similar to Selfridges)...Great Fun...My Father made me a Subbuteo Board and I bought 50 teams and had Leagues with my M8'S....My Dad said to me that he "wished he had never made that bloody Board" as I spent a long time in my room every week with my Pals and on my own, as well..I even used to do Commentaries on Philips Tapes.Escalado was the game though and groups of us used to play and gamble round each others houses in the evening.
