Anyone got a nostalgic craving for a TV series from yesteryear that's now defunct? Let's share. I was browsing YouTube earlier and came across 'Tales of the Unexpected'. The intro and musical accompaniment brought back a bag full of happy memories. Written of course by the fantastic Roald Dahl. Anyone have any other memories?

Thanks to this idea I found there are many episodes of Alf on U Tube. I watched one this morning with Spike Milligan as an Irish Paki. It's so PC incorrect, but an idiot should see the laugh was really on Alf and his views. He used so many words which just wouldn't be allowed on TV now. Must be a typical West Ham fan.

I live just around the corner & walk past every day, & I'm still not entirely sure what it's meant to be. For that reason, I'm not surprised if it often gets overlooked by passersby. Prior to all of this, it was Oriental Star - a wonderful Chinese takeout run by lovely people, & we were genuinely sad to see it go. It took a long time to find anything in this area that came close, & honestly, I still don't think we quite have.
