Ha ha, sorry AFN, I am a shallow follower.

In seriousness, I was impressed by your manifesto.

Allfornun (square on the jaw party) 10/1

David Carnell (labourist) 15/1

Sean McGabhann (centre fence party) 18/1

Peckhamgatecrasher (sensible party) 50/1

Moos (classic literature & poetry) 60/1

Tillie Trotter (Queen of limericks party) 70/1

Dulwichmum (glug Krug party) 80/1

Keef (Keep music live Party) 90/1

Sue (goosing on the green party) 90/1

Ted Max (flowery prose party) 100/1

Steve T (further right than genghis khan) 500/1

Perhaps Peckhamgatecrasher the word 'sensible' is of course totally unacceptable and must be changed, perhaps you would suggest something more befitting......

I will insert your new selection into the earlier passage soonest.

Ted Max perhaps you too would prefer to change flowery into something less offensive?

After Ted's recent gulling of the innocent SophieSofa's chimney enquiry I'd suggest 'plausibly rogueish prose'.

I log on for a little pre-prandial amusement to find I'm being bullied and patronised by an intimidating minority on this site.

The corned beef tin remains unopened: the Mighty White unblessed by Branston's Finest. I suppose the upside is that the ladies at Weightwatchers will have something to applaud when I tip the scales this evening.

There you are, being all floury again.

Although on the bright side you've given me an idea for a late night snack while I'm watching series 2 of Saxondale tonight. Cheers TM.

At this point I'm going to nod politely while slowly backing away.

And for me it's going to be that poison green, with the red hearts and curlicues one.

Bought it from Barnardo's in Brixton several years ago.

Haven't worn it yet, but I reckon if worn with a plain black suit, it'd keep people on their toes as to my intentions.

When you're oppressing the masses I reckon it's best not to be too obvious.

Leastways that's how I figure it.

    • Ugly...maybe..does it bother me..NO! I think its somehow reassuring to see theres still phoneboxes around. East Dulwich may well be getrified but there may well be some elderly people who don't have mobiles and kids who may have lost theirs adults ditto etc etc. I'd rather keep it than lose it...just because i don't use it does'nt mean its not needed.  there are many eyesores in the modern world not all of them as potentially useful.
    • I strongly recommend Balayage salon in Lordship lane as everytime I visit, they make me feel very spicial with thier profisionalism and care.   I have been going there for the last 10 years maybe more, and will never exchange them for any other. They are profisional, welcoming and they also always have an offer. I feel like a new woman every time. X
