At the moment it's because I'm keenly anticipating the opening of Boho.

It's all that's keeping me here frankly, so I better not feel crushed and devalued after I visit there.

If I do I'll be the dejected figure shouldering a stick with a knotted hanky on the end you'll see heading towards Clapham on Sunday morning.

Pay attention Brendan, The knotted stick and hanky? It's obvious I'll be living in a pantomime.

Nothing will be as it seems and everything will be a flimsy and cheap looking fantasy.

OH YES IT WILL!!

I happen to be wearing my very nice brown Ben Sherman shirt today so I suppose you're referring to me.

Ahem.

STRING YOU UP? STRING YOU UP YOU COMMIE B@STARD?? WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU'RE WORTH GOOD STOUT ROPE.

ROPE THAT WE COULD PUT TO BETTER USE ON OUR COLLECTION OF FLAGPOLES!!!

IF THERE'S ONE THING WORSE THAN A COMMIE, IT'S A COMMIE WITH A SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT.

STRING UP YOU RECKON!!?? WASTE OF TWINE!!!!!

COME THE GLORIOUS DAY YOU AND YOUR ILK'LL BE PUT TO DEATH BY A LETHAL INJECTION OF RYE LANE GUTTER FISHWATER.

AND TO ADD THE FINAL INSULT THE WATER WILL BE FRESHLY SOURCED FROM LIVERPOOL.

AND MAY COD HAVE MERSEY ON YOUR SOLE.

me, almosty certainly for a long time. I'm a city boy and Londoner. I had a year in Spain and didn't like it much - the country is ok for a weekend, then it bores me. I've a house that I like and that my seemingly ever expanding brood can fit in, in a pleasant part of town near enough and yet far enough to the centre - and, a year in Spain and a bit of travelling apart I've been in SE London for 24 years now so it's home.

    • I’d also recommend Paul for electrical work. He came round the other week to help us out with a handful of jobs (installing an SPD, new light fittings, installing a dimmer switch, a bathroom fan). His quote was cheaper than what I got from others, he turned up on time and he got the job done quickly.
    • We’d like to add our recommendation for Lukasz and team at L&L Building & Maintenance.  Lukasz has recently installed a roof terrace for us, and we’ve found him a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We contacted about a dozen recommended builders and found his quote very competitive. During the build his team delivered quality work, they were no hassle in the house at all and they kept the place tidy every day. The terrace looks great, and we’re very happy customers. What stood out in particular was Lukasz’s responsiveness, right from discussing quotes to follow-up during the build. Lukasz often checked in and was always available when we needed him.  We’ll definitely contact Lukasz again for future building work and we’d happily recommend him to others looking for a reliable builder.   Lukasz Kugaczewski L&L Building & Maintenance 07926651960 [email protected] www.landl-build.com
    • Yes, I did mention the train, which I now get from East Dulwich to Guys instead of the 40. Depends where in East Dulwich you are starting from which route is easiest! I think it is probably lack of staff rather than lack of hospitals which is the problem?
    • What can be done? How about reporting it to the police?
