@ Catalyst. This is our first ever stinky fried food smell complaint and we are looking into it. Has anyone else smelt this smell?

Wow. That was a quick review, walking straight out like that.

I came on my birthday, betwixt Christmas and New Year with my daughters and granddaughter, who picked up the vibe and was exuberant, happy and ate everything, I had venison and chocolate sauce. Rich for lunchtime but sublime. The music we remarked on, Tim Buckley fhs,and others remarkable, a really esoteric mix, compliments to the compiler (from Spotify apparently) chef, bar, fire maker, everything, and we are tres fussy.

and Herbert for being attentive and well mannered and polite, thank you all,

I've been a few times now at different times of day and week. As a dad I've been one lunchtime (two babies) and for a quiet pint (no kids...agree eves = adult time) and its been all really good. Friendly, helpful staff, decent food, well priced menu and a great fit out that makes it much warmer than the previous incarnation. For what they had to work with and given the previous rep they've done a fantastic job with it. The two sections work well...last night there was football in one area and we ate on the kitchen side. Different needs catered for with that layout.

Thanks for the hospitality guys.

How dare he :)

Did he turn round and scowl like old Steptoe ?

(I've never seen this guy just read about him but that's what I imagine)

Edit: being a bit ironic here - not rude btw :)

    • There seems to be a change in the reception staff - did not recognise a couple of them when I last visited.  Not sure whether one of the long term staff has retired as not seen her for a while.  Used on line facility as my podiatrist recommended antibiotics for a toe infection and also took photo of my toe which I attached yo my request. Got a message back within a day to say medication ordered from chemist.

    • Oh give it a break.  We have an MP who makes racist comments, yet our media (and what seems like this Forum) that generally hate Labour (and loved Johnson) are just out looking for the dirt. It's a move on, nothing to see here.  Particularly if she used a letting agency.
