The Tories for displaying such arrogance in quaffing ?140 bottles of champagne with their rich chums despite a ban by their own party before announcing a pay freeze on public sector workers. Has George Osborne and David Cameron ever had to live on ?18,000 or less? I think not. Not just a slap. I'd give 'em a right good kick in the balls.

Rather a waste of a pie, don't you think...how about a COW PAT?!

Actually, you are RIGHT BBW, cow pats have many a good use...dog poo FAR better...and the SMELL...oooof!

It's come to my attention that Mathew Horne is now a radio DJ for XFM. Instead of slapping him I'd prefer to spoon feed him cold sick and then beat him to death with the spoon whilst telling him in great detail how me and my mates brutally gang raped his dad.
What, exactly, is it that James Nesbitt has done to forumites to deserve the vitriol that he gets on here? I've never met the man. He may be a terrible person. He may be a sinner. He may be a saint. He may be a normal bloke. I have no idea what he is like. I'm just asking, what has he done to the people on this forum?

You're right GG. I actually quite like most of his work and he can act, especially when playing an emotionally scarred yet chirpy bogman.

It's just that when he did Murphy's Law he insisted on that handlebar moustache.

He then became unacceptable.

I know everybody's just avvin' a laarf and everything, and please forgive me if I seem to be lacking a sense of humour today, but what a horrible, mean spirited, jealous and venal little thread.

Poking fun at celebrity(ies) is one thing but this thread just seems to be revealing an unsettling quotient of nastiness. Come on people, the weather's bad enough can people at least try and behave in a less dispiriting manner than this.

    • Two wrongs don't make a right. Labour ran on a manifesto of "we aren't like them" and "we are different" and"you can trust us/we will restore faith in politics". They are doing nothing to convince anyone that any of those promises are being met - they are letting everyone down. u-turning on everything and are fast-tracking the doomsday scenario of a Reform government. Even the runway on the "it's all the Tories fault" is running out. I dislike politicians because they cannot be trusted and Rayner just highlighted that with ribbons on. She should have been so careful after the focus on the electoral roll issues she had with the house in Ashton-under-Lyne and then under a year later this comes up. Clearly the advice she took included a recommendation to take proper advice that she failed to do - that's just daft and the most galling thing is that she didn't just resign when this came up - she tried to spin out of it but must have known she was toast. Trust is fast being eroded. I desperately want Labour and Starmer to fix this because the alternative it too scary to think about but the way things are going they are fast-tracking Farage into No.10. Labour are letting us all down.
    • Same can be said for the current and prior governments
    • Good afternoon, We are looking for a gardener to tidy up our climbing rose. It is very high, so the work will require someone with a tall ladder. can you please recommend anyone?  thanks s
    • So you are also old enough to remember the Heath Out protest by the TUC when unemployment hit 1 million? We all have selective memories, this thread is no different. Please give me a list of the Labour sleaze. And compare it to the Tories.  There are a few of you who appear to have a long term dislike of Labour, so all this is a gift.
