So, Rob. I'm curious - were you joined in the pub last night by a bevy of gorgeous forumites?...

In a word, no. It was not like the attached. Was in the Bishop (as the actress said to...) then up to the Lodge for a few too many. Ended up chatting with an utterly delightful 40/50 something lady who was amazed that i was just chatting with her, and not chatting her up. She was also determined to impress on me that she had 3 kids and so could not possibly be of any interest to me. People can be a bit odd.

May be about tonight, too, though. This weather shall have me stray not too far from the nest.

Perhaps she was just a bit wary of you. I agree with you about women of that age group - delightful. Certainly in my experience. Sounds like you had a nice time, although I suspect your solo trips may not continue for much longer.
