Just a little shaver. Now let it GO!

Honest, you lot are such cowards.

None of you are as open or honest about things than I am and then y'all take the piss.

Things that make me feel old are the fact that I wasted a good deal of time being shy.

And now I am not (quite clearly).

So I must be old!

New Year's Eve - reminds me I'm another year older and there's less on the credit side of the balance sheet than the debit side.

Also spending both Christmas and New Year at home doing nothing with a cold and not worrying I'm missing out.

Also Ugg boots - that flat-footed shuffle that teenagers think is cool but which makes me want to tell complete strangers to pick their feet up.

And the phrase 'are you joking me?' No, because it's not a transitive verb.

Excuse irritability.

...when movies with teenagers become big...and all of the girl-magazines say this or this guy is hot (like a 17year old boy or so) THEN i feel old! as i can hardly immagine in my wildest dreams that a "kid" (

to see so many of my friends now getting children...makes me feel old...

so many more things...

    • I'd second Old Spike and Volcano, 40 Martell Road, Norwood. It's a pleasant stroll from East Dulwich. I'm not sure if they still offer you a free coffee if you buy more than £15 (I think, from memory) of coffee beans, pods etc. in store.
    • My mums in a very similar position. We worked out how much she’d pay annually in ULEZ fees and compared that to the likely costs etc of changing cars (she’s concluded to keep her car till it claps out)  Oh - and I’d suggest asking around if someone has a mains powered battery charger to try to resuscitate your dead one (50/50 if it’ll work)
    • The Oxfam Bookshop, 20 Half Moon Lane, near Herne Hill station is a good place to drop off books.
    • Nice review by the Standard.  Good to be aware that 20,000 plus had an enjoyable time at what was considered to be an excellent festival.  I was maybe in that demographic once .. @Rocketsit amazes me after all your anti-Guardian views you are now posting articles you like.  Maranda Sawyer, Stephen Graham, Marcus Radford, Gary Lineker, all celebs with views media, and at times government pick up in.  Doesn't necessarily make them an authoritative source
