I got the 0714 train into London Bridge this morning, it was a couple of minutes late but got in ok. 0719 was running 12 minutes late. The station staff were clearing the edge of the platform of snow and then had started work in the ramp up.

All trains delayed by an unspecified amount. When a train came, it was too crowded to get on.

Decided to work from home this morning, will try again in a few hours.

I got the delayed 7.19 in which was fine. The 7.29 was running about 15 mins late as well so I guess that will knock on to later trains too. Trains back out of LB seemed to be ok too, with 5-10 mins delay on most.

My husband is at Peckham Rye - 1 train stopped in last 45 mins but too full to get on. 3 trains also crawled past half empty but didn't stop. Doesn't sound good.

Traffic pretty bad from LL going into town - took 20 mins to get from Franklins to Goose Green Roundabout. Turned back - now working from home. May try again after rush hour.

08:05 delayed to 08:38, 08:41 cancelled. London Bridge announced severe delays in and out. Underground is also CLOSED at London Bridge due to 'fabric of station'. Snow still coming down hard in City

Seems to be conflicting reports... Tarah's which says that there are severe delays and even that LB underground is closed(!) and others saying there's no problem at all!

Sigh - just opened the curtains to this again. We're in Ryedale which stayed snowy for much longer than the main roads last time. Does anyone know how The Rye and Forest Hill Road are for driving?

FHR is OK, traffic's pretty light and I don't think any of it's particularly icy. Seen a few front wheels spinning but I think if you're sensible (low revs, high gears etc) you'll be fine.

And on the subject of being sensible - cars may have had the windscreen cleared but what about the lights and indicators !

Not looking good at ED stn, been here 30 mins, each trn says an arrival time, then delayed, then cancelled. Announcements contradict the billboard ! If i get on a trn will post again.

KK - National Rail is showing 30 min delays on trains from ED now so hopefully you'll be on one soon!

Don't know how they are now, but the buses weren't running down LL (near Townley Road) at about 9.15 because they kept slipping - turfed off a lot of passengers now. 37 seems to be running OK

The 37 was/is running ok although expect early termination. 12 running from Peckham Rye but terminating early. Buses from Camberwell (when you actually get that far) running ok with early terminations and large numbers of commuters.

To the woman at the bus stop outside Nero's this morning, who rather unhelpfully started with the scare mongering stories about not being able to get home this evening - Just be quiet and go about your own business!
