  1. It does worry me, with doubts over Liverpool's spending power, and with Man U now seemingly able to buy whoever they want. Still hope Alonso doesn't join Ronaldo at RM!
  2. Come on Steve, I'm loving this thread! Was gutted not to have seen Piers' Luke Skywalker one in time, as got that straight away (nerdy, me?).
  3. If I was a Unuted fan, I'd be made up with that. He's a great player, but thinks he's WAY bigger than the team, and questions his manager's decisions. United can get some real quality in with ?80m, and talent that doesn't think it's the most important thing in the dressing room, so I think they are the winners. Fingers crossed he'll suffer a career ending injury in the first game of the season. I normally wouldn't wish that on anyone, but I really do think he's a repulsive little cnut!
  4. *shudders in boots* Not..... Moos the merciless??? Yeah fair point.
  5. Can I be chair, I'm usually "Mr Reasonable" peace keeper ;-)
  6. Go Piers. Thought that might be a bit easy, especially given that I wear a "Vote Pedro" T-Shirt ;-)
  7. Won't make tonight guys, just too skint this month, and what money I do have will be better spent on a weekend night out rather than watching a match that's on ITV. Would have liked to though, and will definitely be up for meeting for some matches next season!
  8. I'll make some teeth out of orange peel and be Janet Street Porter.
  9. Okay, I canvas for Mexican politics, and I'm an explosive dancer.
  10. Not sure if it was right either, as this is my first look at this thread since posting it.
  11. I did post Emma, not sure what happened to it.

  13. It's a nice idea, but would need a prearranged subject I think.
  14. For me, it would depend on the murder for a start. Is it a premeditated attack in cold blood, is it a "crime of passion" and so on. I still don't agree with death penalty whatever the situation, but severity of punishment would depend. For what it's worth Atila, I don't share your views, and don't always agree with your somewhat aggressive way of putting them across, but I don't blame you one bit for getting upset about the way certain posters have talked to you on this thread!

    a joke

Mn stands naked in front of the mirror, with an erection. "Why do I always get a hard on when I look in the mirror?" he asks his wife. She barely looks away from her book as she replies "because even your knob thinks you're a c**t"> Sorry :-$
  16. Emma?
  17. Lets all just take some solace in the fact that the BNP actually got less votes this election than they did last time round.
  18. Why would Jewish papers be self serving in claiming the existance of Jesus?
  19. I don't like the sugar bit.
  20. Forget that whole post, and just read Jeremy's above it. It's put a lot more clearly in his.
  21. Jeremy, I said it was impossible. I was just interested at Daizie bringing up the tax payer's money, and wondered if this was really a concern, or whether she just wanted everything to be okay.
  22. David, it's just the tone of a lot of your posts IMO. Anyway, you said "to prove my worth", so I think the Leeds comparison hold up perfectly well. People wave flags, banners, and scarves of clubs to show they are part of the crowd, and support their team. I don't see anything at all wrong with the same being done for a national side. Watch the world cup, and you will see flags of every nation being waved in the crowds, or painted on the cheeks of pretty Brazillian ladies. It doesn't make them nationalist mentalists! I am a bit patriotic, I don't wave a flag at games, because I can't be arsed, but I would wave one and it would mean only that I was cheering on my country's team. Yes there are plenty of people who would wave the flag, and also be nasty racists c**ts, but that doesn't mean that everyone waving the flag should be labelled so! I really don't get where you're coming from, you support your national team, so you are being patriotic to some degree. What is the difference?
  23. Of course it can David, but that is a bit superior of you. So bloody what if someone wants to wave a national flag at a sports ground, would you have the same issues with people waving Leeds banners (if anyone can still bring themselves to go to the matches ;-) )? I loved it a few years back when we were watching England in the world cup in the CPT, and there were loads of St George's hats, and some girls in St George's (tight) tops, it was fecking great! Remember nothing about the match, but know I had a good afternoon, and enjoyed the atmosphere.
  24. Because I think his story is very different from the likes of Hitler, who was just a complete loon. I'd like to ask Saddam why he did certain things, if he regrets any of them, and what he might do differently. I just think he'd be very interesting to talk to.
  25. Well maaaaaaybe that one ;-) Daizie, you seem concerned about the money we spend to keep these people in prison, so serious question for you. It's hypothetical, and impossible, but stick with me. Imagine every child could be tested, and we would know for certain that one would grow up and do terrible things like this murder, but they could be treated at a young age, and this could be avoided, but it would be at the tax payers expence. Would you rather spend that money, or just kill them when they were young, before they could do any damage?
