Well Hamas used to say they wanted the total destruction of Israel, and now they say they want a Palistinian state with Jerusalem as the capital, so even there there is a bit of a step down, so you never know. I know it's not simple, but statements like yours are so defeatest, surely there is always hope... Have to say Piers that that statement sounds really rather patronising, and if you do end up with egg on your face, it won't be entirely undeserved... Not eaten in Hizar, but if it's anything like Dish Dash in Balham, then I must get round to it... Do they do a decent veggie selection (for the Missus)? That's why Dish Dash is great, it's the same great grilled meat type place, but they also have some brill veggie options.

I think it would be nice to have following sections. Just my opinion on the matter. While we're at it, you could also have a "Games Room" (as suggested by someone ages ago I think), so we'd never have to see the song game, or word association threads again... Limericks could also go there I guess.

It's really interesting, reading this is showing how this is not a two sided debate, but rather multi sided. Heard on the news yesterday that since this case, the applications to remove children from their parents in to care haveincreaced by a massive amount to approx 600 a month, because Social Workers are now basically sh!tting themselves, and now feel that this is the safest (for them) course of action... Perhaps they won't, but unless both sides are willing to sit down and try, they will both go on killing each other for ever. Hamas (or some of them) are obviously a bit fanatical, but at the end of the day they believe in their fight, and if Israel go on refusing to talk, and just attack them, Hamas will surely develop more and more of a siege mentality, they won't just decide to give up one day. I'm kind of with Snorky having thought about it quite a bit. Yes he seems a bit different, and yes America and the world are ready for a change. However, he is just one man, and he has been left with a big mess to clean up, and whilst a staggering number of Americans said in a poll last week that they were pleased he was taking over, they also said they'd give him 2 years to make a difference... Hi Admin, The Football Focus thread specifically seems to be having problems. I press "post message", and go to a blank white screen (I know you mentioned something about this). Then when I go back to the Lounge, it isn't at the top of the list, and it doesn't say new posts, but the post is there. Then later, someone else had posted a reply, but it still didn't have a red "new", and still hadn't moved to top of the list. This is the only thread I've had this issue with so far, will update if I come across it elsewhere.

They could bring back Barton, he and Bellamy could have a right old tear up! Bellamy not a bad player, but For the ?15m odd that's been quoted, I think the Hammers have done good business. Just hope Zola gets to spend some of it on a replacement!
