  1. Until the last series, where, whilst still good, it rather lets itself down, and dies like a fart in a concert hall. My series 2 is also out there (Jah, if you speak to Steveo can you ask him for it back, as I think he's well and truly finished with it).
  2. You were never alone young man! Keef Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > "but they are the men that need to be talked to". > > Exactly!!! They have a following and sypaphisers, > to stick your fingers in your ears and go "la la > la la la la la", whilst pretending that they have > nothing to do with it, and can be ignored, is just > stupid!
  3. What Jeremy said.
  4. Such a good way of putting it. Teaching of creationism in schoolds is the one thing that I can't reconsile myself with. I was amazed the other day to hear on the radio that 60% of Americans believe in the biblical account of the creation. That is just scary!
  5. I am ashamed to say I caught 10 minutes of the new 90210 last night, and I'm sure one of the main characters is Michael from The Wire! He's come up in the world! ;-)
  6. I wasn't going to let the cat out of the bag so quickly, but yeah, what PGC said.
  7. Whoa PGC, I never even said a word about the course, I'd never heard of it. I was just saying that Noah can't have been 950 years old! I wouldn't mind seeing one session of the course just out of interest, but the one time I went to All Saints, I have to say I found them a bit full on, and they freaked me out a bit. Good music though. That was my first post on this thread, and I think you've kicked off at the wrong person to be honest.
  8. I watched that at a friend's house, went to bed early, set alarm for 2am, sorted!
  9. I am guessing you meant Wii, but that is a bloody brilliant typo!!! >:D< Unless I've totally missed something.
  10. One to look forward to, although Mayweather Jnr over here would be so cool!
  11. This will be the first Australia day in about 6 years I haven't been out getting totally trashed. Damned getting older, settling down, living half way around the world from some of your best mates!!! :( Anyway, have a good one all you Aussies out there.
  12. That she's bloody funny!
  13. How can you, when the story has Noah at about 950 years old, when he died a full 350 years after the flood? Even Jesus only got to his 40s! Wouldn't that have been more down to the whole Tower of Babel malarkey when God got annoyed with the people for trying to reach him, so he split them all up and gave them different languages so they wouldn't understand each other anymore. I'm not an atheist (probably agnostic), and I'm certainly not one of the several people on here who can't wait to jump on a Christian and patronise them. However, I don't see how anyone can take the old testament literally. I think it should be looked at more as a collection of stories from which to take moral lessons or not. New testament has more of a historical feel, but it was stories passed down through generations and changed as they went before finally being written down by deciples of the deciples years after the death of Jesus. It's also a fine bit of literature. There has been a programme on 4 about the history of Christianality which is rather interesting, and would probably offer far more reliable historical evidence than this course.
  14. I think Mattham actually said Jack Charlton in about the 4th post of this thread... Absolutely, have only just read this thread, and almost spat water over the screen when I read Oliver Cromwell!

Not at all, I am no prude, and think it's great if people want to meet local singles via a forum like this. It's just annoying trying to plough through it all to find something interesting.

Can you set up a Singles Section please, so The Lounge doesn't get filled up with weirdness!
  17. I think I tilted it a bit on all my vices this weekend. Should make for interesting results in the blood tests I just had... :-S
  18. Must get back to the drinks as a subject, but first of all, is there any chance of a Singles Section on the forum, so those who wish to use it can do so til their hearts are content, and those who don't can just not bother going there. Personally I love a flirt, but not so much on a local forum.
  19. I'm with Anna, not so much about the drinks, but the forum itself is becoming a bit weird and flirty. No harm in it I guess, but I find it a bit off putting.
  20. Not the most exciting depay ever, but I don't think I'm being too biased in saying that Liverpool had the chances to win it... hope we can win the replay, as I think a tie against Villa would make for a good match.
  21. Yeah they've rereleased them in retro yellow bag with the 80s monsters on the front, and the actual crisps are bigger like they used to be. they are, quite simply, the nuts!
  22. Just want to say that Steven Gerrard will walk straight in to my list once he retires. For the time being I just want him to go on and achieve lots more...
  23. Much as I'd like to say the likes of Ali, I shall stick to people who've been doing it in my lifetime... Robbie Fowler, most natural goal scorer of a generation, desperately unlucky with injuries. Ayrton Senna, when F1 was worth watching. Nigel Benn, just loved watching him fight, he'd rather get knocked out than take a backward step! Shane Warne, rock and roll bowling. Andre Agassi, proper tennis player beating all the big serving boring guys.
  24. I hear you, but went to watch Charlton not long ago, and they were shocking!
  25. Rhinestone cowboy, you obviously haven't seen Charlton play recently if you think they are going to win a match by 3 goals!
