  1. I'd be up for having a serious crack at it, and I agree that eating it cheating! (until the kebab at the end of the night) And frankly, it you're doing halves, then it shouldn't be too bad, 10 pints spread over an afternoon / evening, with walks in between, should be fine.
  2. Katie Hopkins walked out before the final, although Alan Sugar swears he would have fired her that week anyway. Simon then beat that Irish lass. With regards last night, I basically realised that they were all really really sh!te, and I don't think Claire was robbed, she just got everyone's attention because she's gobby, and she kept on going on about how she'd changed. Lee really wanted it, and he'll earn his money, and disappear in to some company falling under Sir Alan's umbrella... Michelle Dewberry talks about being Sir Alan's right hand woman after winning the apprentice. What a load of bo!!ocks. I seriously doubt they ever have anything to do with him again.
  3. Mocking Bird... Mockney Bird???? :-S
  4. Alas, I won't be there then. Don't actually like the Hearne, so no worries ;-)
  5. Perhaps not.
  6. Anna, mate, you are horrifically biased! Celtic fans would argue a fair bit of passion with that song. I have been to an Everton fan's wedding, and they walked out to z-cars (shudder), and Newcastle fans are mega passionate. I love the pool, but at times up there I used to think the crowd could be a bit dull... I think they just get up for the big games. Soz mate, luv ya, and love the pool, but that last post just had some red tinted glasses going on ;-)
  7. I have a colleague who does Pacific rather than specific, which always makes me smile. With regards lyrics, I thought Hendrix was asking us to excuse him whilst he kissed this guy!
  8. I did indeed know, nice bit of trivia.
  9. Hmmm, In previous years, the final wasn't about winning, it was just a last chance to show off... Very good question Ted Mex!
  10. Heh heh heh *makes plans to convince Mrs Mockney to go for it* >:D< (not that I want you to actually die of course, but it would be bloody funny!)

I know I know, it's just x-factor / fame academy / jungle thing with a business twist, but I think it's just so funny, whereas none of the others are! X-Factor makes people laugh because they laugh at poor disillusioned people who have been told by cruel friends that they have musical talent. I think that's just mean. Apprentice is full of people that will tell you again and again how good they are, and it is great fun watching them fail!!! That said, I did say to Mrs Mockney last year that I could see her ripping through the opposition and winning it! >:D<
  13. Final tonight, is it a foregone conclusion that Claire will win it??? I'm not sure, as she got a bit of a beasting at the end of the board room last week... I'm having an outside bet on Lee, although that is probably unwise, as I think his nerves get the better of him again in a presentation tonight...
  14. Sorry, just seen that. It was HSBC, been with them since it was Midlands, and have never bothered changing. Have never opened other accounts with them though. Did get ?2k charges back from them last year though, dated back to my student days, and the wild couple of years following! LadyG, I shall indeed get you a large glass of vino!

  17. Never watched any Deadwood, but series 1 is on it's way via Lovefilm, so will probably plough through all of that before Wire 5 arrives. Going back to Horsebox's comment, how did what they did show make any sense, it's all tied in! It's as if they think their target audience only want to see black people popping caps in each other's asses! :-S I disservice to their own audience methinks.
  18. My vote would ideally go to 2nd August, with July 19th in second place. Too bloody much going on this July!

Damn you Torres, I was trying to pick between Torres & Villa for my top scorer at work, and my Liverpool loyalty made me go Torres, only for Villa to net a hatrick!!! :X
  20. Can't do 26th July, but 19th okay (although I am rehearsing for 8 hours the following day... I feel a headache coming on!

Not saying it's not true what you say, but I've never heard of it... Then again I'm not Spanish.
  22. Sounds good Brendan. I could do Saturday August 2nd, but not the 9th, so please don't do it that day, as I'm really up for this!

Was a good game last night, and glad to see Romania (the forgotten team of that group) prove that they're not just there to give points to the others Liverspain are kicking off this evening, come on Torres! >:D<
  24. Really... Hmmm, may have to cancel said order... I just found out that Stringer (Idris Elba) was in THIS series that I rather enjoyed in the late 90s (97/98 maybe)... It rode the wave of Jack Davenport's fame from This Life, but don't think it really took off. Shame. Please ignore the music in the background of the vid on youtube!
  25. Ziggy was a prick, but a misunderstood one I think. Greek wasn't scary, his number 1 is! I thought it was a great series, looking at a different group in society, but keeping up with the "street". Series 3 is fab, and I know a couple of people who have said they'd stop at the end of 3 because they felt they had enough closure. I'm very glad I watched series 4, as it is my favourite, and I can't wait to wrap it all up with series 5!!!
