  1. Deleted for repetition.
  2. Oly Londoners can say the C word with it's correct mix of venom and humour :-S
  3. Don't know the actors name, but Stringer Bell turned up in that First female detective agency thing on BBC a couple of weeks ago. Also, I didn't realise that Stringer is actually a Hackney boy! Apparently when people approach him and he opens his mouth they feel cheated until he puts on the Stringer accent! On a similar thread, I was watching the bonus features on Series 4, and McNaulty has got a proper posh boy English accent! Can't believe he went to Eaton. Series 4 bloody brilliant by the way, except the death of one of my favourite characters near the end!
  4. Man U, Barca, should be a good one... I actually remember watching that 3-3 draw back in 98 or 99, good game!
  5. I only remember meeting you once at Hoopers I think. Come on MW74, you know it makes sense.
  6. Tht is sad news, and for what good it is, I echo what fish said.
  7. Tonight I shall most likely be watching the last 2 episodes of series 4... I can't believe I now have to wait God knows how long for series 5!!!!! It really is bloody good, and with all that happened in series 3, I wondered if it would get a bit crap, but I love series 4, the whole education thing has been great, if rather depressing!
  8. Just realised it's Apprentice day hurrah! I'm so gutted I missed the first 2 series, I love this thing. It is one of about 3 programmes that I will make a point of watching or recording!
  9. Good work Georgia, pretty sure the date is good.
  10. What Snorky said! Yes perhaps this dog needs to be destroyed, as it could well be too late to change it, but they are not born agressive, they are made that way by their nasty bastard owners!
  11. Isn't that a pic of you, me and Lozzy? (I can only see them on my mobile screen, will look properly this evening).
  12. Birmingham 2 v 1 Everton Bolton 1 v 3 West Ham Derby 0 v 3 Villa Reading 2 v 0 Fulham Sunderland 2 v 2 Man City Spurs 3 v 1 Middlesbrough Portsmouth 1 v 2 Newcastle Liverpool 2 v 0 Blackburn Man U 2 v 3 Arsenal Chelsea 2 v 0 Wigan Want Arsenal to beat Man U at the weekend, just to make it a really interesting run in... If Arsenal were to do a job, and Chelsea beat Wigan on Monday (which they surely will), Man U and Chelsea would be on 77, with Arsenal only 3 points adrift, and Chelsea and Man U still have to play each other in a couple of weeks, so would still be anyone's... That said, despite my prediction above, my head tells me that Arsenal will be tired after last night, and Man U will rest players this evening, so Man U will probably win it, and that will basically be the end of Arsenal's title challenge. Despite things that have been said on here before, I do prefer Arsenal to the other 2, and my dad supports them. It's just the Wenger thing I said above that really puts me off! Maybe the top 3 will all lose all their remaining games, and the pool will storm to the title! ... yeah maybe not :-S
  13. Jah Lush recently pointed out to me that I often use the saying "Exactly Right". I have now noticed just how much I bloody use it, and it's doing my head in!
  14. Mrs Keef and I could be in, (we've talked about trying Omrith) but will have to confirm nearer the time...
  15. From the clips I heard on the radio this morning, Boris came across as a fool, and Paddick came across quite well.
  16. Not today, but thought I'd share this. A few years back I was out for my birthday, a young single man at the time. A couple of work colleagues came along, and after many drinks myself and a, normally very straight professional type, female colleague started getting really flirty. Nothing much happened, but the next day I text a friend saying "I'll never look at ****** the same way again". Imagine my horror when I checked my outbox and discovered I'd text said colleague! That Monday morning was a bit weird :-$
  17. Good work as ever Andrew!

    folk music

I've never understood it either, I went to a folk festival thing once, and half the acts were your normal singer/songwriter types, and the headliners were basically a rock band.
  19. Well aren't we all lovely and friendly. Good luck to them in their retirement, they've been there as long as I can remember, and Funnily enough, never been rude to me. Maybe when people have no respect for shopkeepers and talk to them like servants, it's hard for the shopkeeper to keep smiling... Just a thought.
  20. Chelsea? We beat them for fun! ;-) Man U, now that's different, and I won't be confident should we both get that far, for me they just have more danger men than Arsenal. But that said, a final is a final, and we've beaten them in finals before now... Chelsea will be interesting, the stupid fans still sing for Jose, but if Grant beat the pool, he will have done something Jose never managed in the champs league... Surely that would win them over for him! Not that I want that to happen of course.
  21. Obviously I'm very happy, and had I been a neutral I would have really enjoyed that match! I was woried when Walcott came on, and bloody hell what a run and what a goal, I wish he'd scored it himself, because it would have been deserved! Torres' goal was class, and if he's anonymous for the rest of a game, then does that, then so be it! Now, the penalty (someone had to bring it up). Arsene Wenger is saying it was never a penalty, now for me, it was very very similar to the penalty shout from last week, so either neither should have been, or they both should have been. I agree Arsenal can be annoyed at not being awarded the penalty in the first leg, but you can't in the next breath claim that a very similar incident shouldn't have been a penalty. Either way, I was glad Babel scored another, so it didn't all hinge on that, as I won't have that peformance taken away from the pool! At the start of the game it was all Arsenal, and I was imagining losing 3-0 or something, but after Hypia equallised, I thought we raised our game. In the second half, Arsenal just seemed to have ran out of steam (and that was the comment of my Gooner friend who was round at mine watching it), until the substitutions. Anyway, a great game, very unlucky for the Arsenal, it always could have gone either way. I just wish the managers (and I'm not just talking about Wenger, but he's one of the worst) could be more gracious afterwards, instead of finding some cr@p to complain about all the time. It's disrespectful to the other team who have also played their hearts out. Chelsea next... Would rather have the second leg at Anfield, but we'll just have to make do.
  22. So the people spilled out.
  23. Paperclips and rubber bands can usually be crafter in to a dangerous catapult weapon, that's always fun, especially if you're not keen on your colleagues.
