Obviously I'm very happy, and had I been a neutral I would have really enjoyed that match! I was woried when Walcott came on, and bloody hell what a run and what a goal, I wish he'd scored it himself, because it would have been deserved! Torres' goal was class, and if he's anonymous for the rest of a game, then does that, then so be it! Now, the penalty (someone had to bring it up). Arsene Wenger is saying it was never a penalty, now for me, it was very very similar to the penalty shout from last week, so either neither should have been, or they both should have been. I agree Arsenal can be annoyed at not being awarded the penalty in the first leg, but you can't in the next breath claim that a very similar incident shouldn't have been a penalty. Either way, I was glad Babel scored another, so it didn't all hinge on that, as I won't have that peformance taken away from the pool! At the start of the game it was all Arsenal, and I was imagining losing 3-0 or something, but after Hypia equallised, I thought we raised our game. In the second half, Arsenal just seemed to have ran out of steam (and that was the comment of my Gooner friend who was round at mine watching it), until the substitutions. Anyway, a great game, very unlucky for the Arsenal, it always could have gone either way. I just wish the managers (and I'm not just talking about Wenger, but he's one of the worst) could be more gracious afterwards, instead of finding some cr@p to complain about all the time. It's disrespectful to the other team who have also played their hearts out. Chelsea next... Would rather have the second leg at Anfield, but we'll just have to make do.
