  1. America in the 60's, summer f love and all that...
  2. Do you mean the end of 2003? I thought that was pushing a week, it was bloody horrible, had to use a really nasty shower at work!
  3. Knightmare on Wikipedia Apparently it run from 7 September 1987 to 11 November 1994. Which means I would have just turned 9 when it started, and would have probably stopped watching in 90.
  4. Yeah it started green, then bits of the face would fall away and it would go from orange to red and there would only be a skull left, until they found some bread or something to put in the napsack/satchel thing. There were "wall monsters" who would ask them riddles and stuff too. Only remember seeing one lot get to the end f the game, which took them several episodes I think!
  5. I think it was on for a good few years.
  6. First ever Thundercats!!!
  7. I used to like that one aswell. Can't believe it's taken til now, but what about He-Man and, the same cartoon for girls, She-Ra. They came together in , which I think was the only thing my Dad ever took me to see at the cinema!
  8. It was bloody wicked!!!!!
  9. Sorry Sean that wasn't directed souly at you. It just annoys me that they've barely opened their doors and they're being written off. As for the signage, who cares, you've said yourself that the whole "organic" thing isn't all it's made out to be. Part of me just hopes that if it closes down it'll be taken over by a Wimpy or something, just to annoy certain types of people.

It was actually about someone getting short changed 80p in a pub, and wondering if it was worth going in there ever again.
  12. Nice to see everyone get behind a local business starting out. Guess he should sell Oysters and a few crap bowls of olives. I'm not saying the place is good or bad, I haven't even looked, but the attitude on here f**ks me off sometimes.
  13. It's both Bob, therin lies the paradox.
  14. It' not for a council to improve shops, but I'd say Nunhead Lane and the little Green there are more in need of attention than Goose Green which has been done up not too long ago. There are many many parts of Southwark more in need of a facelift than anywhere in ED.
  15. Wikipedia says the following. The Human Jungle was a British TV series about a psychiatrist, made for ITV by the small production company Independent Artists. It ran for two series between 1963 and 1965, and starred Herbert Lom as Dr Roger Corder, who saw patients in his own Harley Street practice and at the local (fictional) St Damian's hospital. He was supported by the more junior Dr Jimmy Davis (Michael Johnson), by his secretary Nancy Hamilton (Mary Yeomans) and, more occasionally, by Jane Harris (Mary Steele). He shared his home with his headstrong teenage daughter Jennifer (Sally Smith), whose mother, we are told, was killed in a car accident. Each 60-minute episode (26 in total) focused on a specific patient, whose psychological ailment Dr Corder would treat and, invariably, cure, using an idiosyncratic approach which mixed Freudian psychoanalysis with more contemporary methods associated with the likes of the controversial R.D. Laing. A number of high profile guest stars appeared in his surgery, including Margaret Lockwood, Flora Robson, Roger Livesey, Rita Tushingham and Alfie Bass.
  16. I do have to agree that the council could spend their time and money on a lot of things other than the bloody fence at Goose Green.
  17. You weren't 13 in '73 though were you?!?!?!?
  18. downsouth Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How about converting the ED Warehouse into a food emporium with pizza hut, kfc, Papa John's Pizza and Quizno's subs. kwala-tee. That would genuinely get my vote! (but Pizza Express as opposed to Hut please, and a subway)
  19. Seepy Tea = Grolsch :)-D
  20. How could I have forgotten this bit of French Literature!
  21. I think they should turn Dog Kennel Hill in to a giant fun slide on one side, and dry ski slope the other.

So you're 80p down? Not sure I'd boycott a place over that.
  23. Usually no a Lampard fan at all, but thought he was very nice after the match about Crouch's sendin off. He just went insane for a second as far as I'm concerned, it was a ludicrous "tackle"! Oh well, not that bothered. Saw the Arsenal goals on telly lst night, those kids can play!
  24. 60 something for 6, rain has stopped play... We're f**ked.
  25. Or maybe just Athos-(ters) :-S
