  1. Rats aside, there are lots of foxes around.
  2. Agree with regards Rafa, but have heard him admit a couple of times that his player has been in the wrong for something. Not something I can say for Wenger, however good a manager he might be.
  3. It was on Radio 4 news a while ago. Details seem very unclear, there was a suicide bomber, but also reports of 3 shots being fired.
  4. Or exciting and stable, which is totally possible. I'm sorry, but being a good shag does not automatically mean you have to act like a c**t in every other area of your life.
  5. Come on Atila hold your hands up, the rest of us have to. Annoyed me the way Wenger moaned because Pompey didn't let them play their game... If I'm in a boxing match and I know a guy is going to totally outclass me at boxing, then I'm going to get inside and try to rough him up, because funnily enough I'm not there to further his career, I want to win for my own career.

Er, you know more about football than most people I know to be fair, and you can also drink a fair bi too ;-) I think a guy can be blokey and be nice, you don't have to be a total bastard. Sounds to me like your girlfriend was just a knob, and as far as I'm concerned, any girl who says she likes a bit of a bastard is just a fu*ling idiot, next she'll be self harming or something.
  7. Didn't see any of it, as was doing the family thing, but apparently the Chelsea Villa match was a great watch. Will be tuning in to MOTD later! Was goin to mention Spurs, but have been beaten to it! >:D<
  8. I always said they were gits. ;-) Only jesting, happy crimbo Willy Rose
  9. Exactly, and the bookies wouldn't bother opening in the area if they wern't confident of getting the business. I'm not really a big better, but I used to work in a bookies up in Liverpool, and I don't see what the problem is with them. It used to remind me of working in a bar, you had your regulars who'd have a bit of banter with you, it was all quite friendly. Some people like to go and spend their money on drinking, some on food, some on clothes, and some betting on sports and racing. Fortunately Lordship Lane caters for all of these.

    Mediumship

    *whispers* I see dead people.
  11. I disagree, most goal keepers will tell you they choose where to dive, and hope for the best, it's as simple as that. "Spurs were the sharper ones and the better team in the first half". Wenger
  12. Straight back at ya, Happy Crimbo everyone!
  13. Nice to see everyone has a sense of humour for the festive season.
  14. Atila, even Wenger said that you were second bes and a bit lucky yeserday, so credit where it's due.
  15. Didn't he used to make strange bird like noises for some reason? I used to love treasurehunt when I was a kid. I remember it was on when I got hom from Boys Brigade, and I used to watch that with a pack of Ringos, then bed for me.
  16. And Liverpool were 5th to Chelsea's 1st a couple of years ago, and look what happened then ;-)
  17. And Arsenal fans wonder why people like to see them get beat! ;-)

However, they are having a bit of a problem in the bedroom department, in that once the lights are out, they can't see each other signing, so communication is a real issue.... This is obviously having an effect on their sex life, which is a nightmare, particularly in this, the honeymoon period.... > > One day they're discussing this, and wife says to hubby (through sign), "I have an idea, when we're in bed in the dark, and you feel a bit frisky, just lean over and give my left breast a quick squeeze to let me know. If you're tired and you just want to sleep, give the right breast a quick squeeze, and we know where we are." > > Hubby agrees with this, and gets to thinking...... > > The next day hubby says to wife. "That was a really good idea you had yesterday, so I've been thinking.... If we're in bed and you're feeling frisky, reach over and give my knob a quick tug to let me know. If you're feeling tired and just want to sleep, just reach over and tug it 250 times!" Posted that in the early days of this thread, but I just told it to my Deaf colleague for the first time. She found it funny, but the best bit was watching my lovely colleague Karen, the BSL interpreter, trying to finish the interpreting and keep a straight face once I'd hit the punchline!
  19. To be honest, I don't think any team at this stage will be scared of any other team. I shall, believe it or not, be cheering the arse on in this round, I shall even be hoping for Chelsea, Man U, and Celtic to come through. I have to admit, I don't know too much about Inter at the moment, but when it comes to Europe, I always feel reasonably confident with Rafa, he just seems to get it right in this competition... Man U and Chelsea have it easy!
  20. Would be tempted to try and stop the Kennedy assasination, just to see if America would still have ended up so f**ked up.
  21. A weather beaten and travel weary Huguenot moves along Lordship Lane staying always hidden by the shadows. What could his intent be?
  22. I've not sat in there, but went in and bought Mrs Keef a huge slice of very nice carrot cake for ?2.50, which I didn't think was bad.
  23. Milan seems to be the town to visit... Would say the gunners have the hardest draw, and don't dare pretend you're happy with it. Still, I think over the 2 legs they can do it. Don't hold out much hope for Celtic against Barca! Arsenal 2 - 2 Tottenham Aston Villa 2 - 1 Man. City Bolton 1 - 0 Birmingham Fulham 1 - 2 Wigan Liverpool 3 - 2 Portsmouth Middlesbrough 1 - 2 West Ham Reading 2 - 0 Sunderland Man. United 2 - 1 Everton Newcastle 2 - 1 Derby Blackburn 1 - 2 Chelsea
  24. I would like to know if hover boards like the ones in Back to the future 2 will ever exist, and if so, I want one!!!
  25. Be fair, whilst I hate the whole class thing, you know what Maurice is getting at.
