  1. I played piano? Oh dear God, I must have been very drunk, my fingers don't work very well when I'm drunk which is why I try to avoid guitars at these times.... Piano not a good plan! Wish I'd joined you in saying no to Liqourice, I went and straight away remembered why I hate the dump, and I left... Which in fairness was probably a good thing for me and everyone with me!
  2. They don't have chewing gum either ;-)

    Yes, I am an ape.
  4. We must stop meeting like this. It was basically the same sort of job I do now (in social services), but a bit of a better journey, and a couple of gand more... Not overly bothered, not sure it would have been good for me. Just really want to get out of my current place, been there far too long!
  5. Not sure. Mybe he reads this... Sorry Stephen.
  6. Just seen your bit about the deposit... Small claims court man! These people are little more than thieves, don't let him mug you.
  7. Bollcks, tell him to f*k off! If he pays towards management costs that include water, then he should have bumped up the rent a bit. It's his mistake.
  8. Stephen McNeff, that's the fella. Was stood in the loos during the interval of one of the concerts slagging off one of his works to my friend, when he came out of the cubicle behind me... Ooops :-$ He has to now though!
  9. Well I had a job interview today, and apparently got pipped to it*, so I'm going to get w**kered tonight! :)-D * I may have been crap, but he said there was nothing to worry about, and on another day would have got it.... Makes me feel loads better!

You hussies! Ben Kingsley was scary in that film!
  12. Cool. My friend Jonathan joined and was lead trombone. He dragged me along, but then he moved to Reading and I couldn't really be arsed anymore. Good band though, loved playing the Pirates of the Caribbean music at Dulwich College! Shame about the original stuff though... Can't remember the composer's name, but couldn't stand his stuff!
  13. Not stalking here, but how long have you been playing with the SCB? I played trumpet with them for a while a couple of years back.

I've always thought Beckham was a good bloke, and at least, despite all the money and fame, he still looks like he actually cares when he pulls on an England shirt... More than can be said for a lou of them, including the captain! I don't even think she's all that bad deep down... Was always more of a ginger or baby fan though ;-)

Over here we've got Christmas trees and everything, but it's not quite the same in 35 degree heat! I was in Singapore last December, and isn't it really weird!!! Huge christmas trees in the street with loads of lights, but pretty much as unchristmassy as I've ever felt. Great place, don't get me wrong (even if Singapore slings are the most disgusting drinks in the world!).
  16. Well at least I've been consistant.
  17. That's a great call, and much better than Michael Stipe who I was thinking of :-S
  18. I'm a Favourite Fried Chicken man myself.... When I'm very drunk!

  20. Mmmm double dipped strawberries.
  21. All I can really say to this arguement is that I have done more damage to myself and my finances through drinking than I have through drugs, and I have never been arrested for it.
  22. Exactly what Kel said!!!!
  23. Soz, but think the live music is off... I'm not sure how it would fit in to the evening, and ive-met-jimmy doesn't really want to have to load all the gear in to his car, and stay sober all night to drive it back again... I may well bring an acoustic guitar with me in case we fancy a pissed up sing song late in the evening! :)-D Will most likely turn up between 8 and 9...
  24. Wow, that seems like a long long time ago now! I didn't really wish for anything... Has anyone from East Dulwich bought a house in East Dulwich this year? ;-)
