To be fair to Maurice, he never compared a needle exchange to Neros at all. He just questioned, quite rightly for me, whether those who argued against the needle exchange, on the basis that they had not gone through the correct consultation processes, would automatically be against Nero and vice versa. It reminds me of how the residents against the ED Warehouse got little sympathy for their cause because the warehouse was something people were excited about.

Really bad news to see Spurs have lost Garet Bale for 3 months.

They have just banned smoking in pubs, I can't see them leagalising all drugs! To legalise heroin would be bloody ludicrous, making it readily available to everyone. At the end of the day, anyone can get hold of some weed, but you can't exactly say to a bloke in the pub "do you know where I can score some heroin mate?". I know it's gettable if you really want to get it, but God don't make it easier for people to try it! Besides, if it were legalised and controlled, the black market would probably still exist, offering stronger mixed up stuff. I have no problems with a lot of recreational drugs, but to say end prohibition and legalise them all is madness. Another thought that has just entered my mind... Imagine how easy it would be to spike people's drinks with dodgy stuff if drugs were that easily come by...

To be fair, I've always cheered Arsenal on in Europe, and even said a few posts ago that I would cheer them against any other British team in Europe other than Liverpool. At the end of the day though, whether you or I cheer Liverpool tomorrow or not will not make even the slightest bit of difference to the game, so knock yourself out.

I don't hold out much hope of this happening, but an Arsenal, Chelsea draw and a Liverpool win over Man U next week wold be an absolute result! Arsenal are indeed a different team from last year, and deservedly at the top, but I shall cheer every point they drop, as I would Chelsea and Man U.

The Khan fight was a joke, I thought it may actually be a fight, but there was no contest. Hatton tried hard, but was always well out of his league. Mayweather is just awesome! Glad I avoided the hamlet in the end, sounds like a horrid experience. Thanks Jah for the boxing and beer :)-D

Listening to the Liverpool match on he radio, and they're scathing about Rafa's team selection, tactics, and substitutions. Fair enough they ot a dodgy penalty, but still it's typical Liverpool throwing away points in matches we should be winning. This is why we are never real contenders. Makes me so angry! :X
