  11. Wow, 1987, I was only 9. I remember it well though, I was in school (the old St John's & St Clement's) and we were watching how fast the clouds were moving in the sky!

I agree about the balance, but I don't think it's there now, I want to see more chains. Swap Chener Books for Waterstones. Change the Bishop to an O'Neill's I couldn't agree with these two more!

Think that was Ayres Bakers, they had about 4 shops between the Goose Green end of Lordship Lane, and Forest Hill. My sister had her first Saturday job there. > the video shop in the same area that would do pirate videos under the counter if you knew them well enough. I used to get the same service from the old video shop by the roundabout, is that the one you mean?

Maximay, please don't think of this forum as horrid and cliquey. I can see why you'd have felt that, but there was never an intention to bully you, and I was trying to say that you ere perfectly entitled to an opinion. Sorry about your son, and (whilst I know this is easy for me to say), try not to worry too much about the threats from this c**t. One would assume e's not totally stupid, and doing anyhing against you would just be idiotic if he wants to stay out of the eyes of the law.
  15. You sure you're not a police officer? :))

Do we know if she was a mother at the time? > My opinion I am entitled to it. I totally agree, and as I said earlier, you obviously have some personal insight here, and are more than entitled to an opinion. I also agree with CitizenED, and don't want you to feel that it's us against you. All I would say is please don't be so final and unforgiving in your opinions. Basically there are people out there who are just nasty, and there are people who have a bad run, but sort themselves out, please don't tar them all with the same brush, and try and give people a fair go.

Yes she is, and the story is out, and she didn't try to brush it under the covers. However, Maximay wasn't discussing this womans ability to do a job, or even the harm this might do to the party. She was basically attacking her personally, in a very angry way. My wife will vote green, I will not, and I imagine Amanda and I would probably disagree on a few things (and agree on others), but I still don't want to hang her like a Salem "witch" for some stuff she did years ago.
  22. Bloody hell, calm down. I was not intending any veiled criticism, I was half joking, and half asking a serious question based on your comments that led me to believe that you might be a police officer, or have some connection to the police. That's one opinion, but many may not share it, particularly the person with the other dog who was attacked. I completely agree, it is my opinion. Apparently though, the woman who was attacked didn't appear to want to press charges. I don't want to start a row here, and maybe saying "have a word with yourselves" was a bit much. It is a term I use mostly in jest. However, I do not take things at face value, and I could equally argue that those who were quoting Louisa and taking her story apart were taking it at face value, whilst others read between the lines, or just didn't really care. I wouldn't have cared or posted on this thread at all, but I fely Louisa was being unfairly treated.

Maximay Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Oh, so was it all lies then? Oh, I'm sorry..... Of course it's not, which is why it contains "direct quotes". However, does this, or any other person deserve to pay for their former mistakes forever? She served time for the smuggling, and so has been punished. Why are you so angry and unforgiving? Seriously! You could bump in to this lady tomorrow, and get on like a house on fire. Would you then drop her when you realised it was this person?
