Couldn't agree more. I don't think you should have a dog if your lifestyle means leavin it alone all day in or out doors.
  2. I think she's a pretty good singer actually.

Either way, he's still the master of the rock power ballad, Bed of Roses being the ultimate! >:D<

You say that, but aparently he's taken a lot of money off of younger bands that he's "helped" along the way.

Where did you see Nickleback? I saw them at Hammersmith in 2004 I think. That was a bloody great show, and I'm nt even a huge fan. Don't think Bon Jovi would be worth seeing these days. A friend went a couple of years back and said it was very disappointing. They don't have the energy of their 80s glam days anymore.
  6. Are they snarties or strange coloured carrots?
  7. *Bob I did that years ago. Like I said, I'll live forever.
  8. TillieTrotter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How terribly English is this thread. Bloody kids ruining my peaceful pint, bloody kids and mums taking up all the room in all the eateries....blah blah. But jump up and down when a DOG gets left outside a cafe for half an hour. Priceless! To be fair Tillie, no one has suggested leaving a child out in the cold, and a dog is far less annoying than a child in a pub.
  9. Have you visited The Castle? I've not been in the Capitol for ages, but I think it's pretty good as far as weatherspoons g. And the staff have always seemed very nice.
  10. Another couple just because I feel like it. Weak God I'd forgotten just how good a voice she has! Someone else now. I like this vid, it reminds me of the film Devils Advocate, where the people's faces distort like monsters. Evanescence - Going Under
  11. Jah's posting of Coffee & TV reminded me of this song that I love (they were both on a soundtrack which is the link). What an amazing voice!

  13. I lived on Barry Road a couple of years ago, and was surprised how little the traffic noise bothered me. I was in a front room without double glazing, but was never woken by it. Most of the houses have good sized gardens. I'd recommend it.
  14. Er James, I'm pretty sure that by "coat", they meant the fur that's actually attached to the dog ;-)
  15. One for Lizzygotdizzy Nightwish - Nemo
  16. Sweet, I can't wait to get older :)-D
  17. Mark Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Having an "outdoor dog" that doesn't come into the house is quite normal in England too. And a dog outside a cafe, even if it is raining, is not really animal abuse, like its owner said "He has this big furry coat thing that keeps him warm in the rain/snow/wind". Just because it's common doesn't make it right, I feel strongly that you shouldn't have a dog unless you have the time to spend with it, and treat it right. They are not wild animals anymore, and need affection. I can't stand people going out to work all day and leaving a dog in the garden! As for the dogs "owner", James said he saw this at the weekend, therapist said s/he was there this morning. Therapist may well have tied his dog "under the eaves sheltering from the pouring rain". James' post suggests that the dogs he saw were left in the rain, and that is cruel. Coat or no coat, a dog would seek shelter. By the way Mark, I can't believe the Administrator Lounged you, that's harsh man ;-)
  18. Arsenal do have players to come back, but credit where it's due, Newcastle were good value for their draw last night. At one point in the second half, Arsenal couldn't keep the ball and the passing was all over the shop. Nice to see Joey Barton hasn't let fame change him... :-S That was one blatant body check! I can't stand "Big Sam", but the fight shown by Smith, Taylor and Martins made me want to see them do okay. I thought it was one of the best matches (for a neutral) I've seen this season. Aaaanyway Aston Villa 2 Portsmouth 1 Chelsea 2 Sunderland 0 Everton 2 Fulham 0 Man Utd 2 Derby 1 (this will probably be a massive beating, but I'm just thinking that Jewell might toughen Derby up a bit) Newcastle 2 Birmingham 1 Reading 1 Liverpool 2 Middlesbrough 1 Arsenal 2 Blackburn 2 West Ham 2 Bolton 1 Wigan Athletic 1 Tottenham 2 Man City 1
  19. Haven't they released a box set of 5 versions of this... That's 5 versions of the same film. Why would you buy that???

Anna that's not fair, damn it. Next time... Lizzygotdizzy, I like Nightwish, didn't think anyone else would know about them. Didn't know they had a new singer though, haven't heard them for a while.
  21. Can I play at the reception?
  22. What happens to the CPT?!?!?!?!?
  23. I can't believe dog fights still happen! Well I can believe it, but it's a sad state of affairs.
  24. I'm sorry, but you can't blame the owner of the cafe, and of course s/he want's their business, it's a cafe!
