  1. Yes, but less need for bricks in the bag.
  2. You're not the first person to suggest Jack Black for me, and I guess in many ways it's fair, and a lot of people like him and find him funny... I f**king hate him!!!!!!!!! (6)
  3. So where would people say ED ends and Peckham / Camberwell Start? For me, Ed ends at the station, Everything on the DKH estate side up to Grove Hill would be Peckham, and the Sainsbury's side would be Denmark Hill/Camberwell. Hoopers on Ivanhoe Road would be pretty much border of Peckham and Camberwell, definitely not ED. I consider Goose Green and St John's Church to be part of Dulwich, but everything after that, including the playground, The Green, The Gowlett, and Kings on the Rye would be Peckham. Going up the hill, I guess ED ends at the bottom of Sydenham Hill / Hornimans.
  4. I think it would be easiest about half hour after a Sunday Roast, when he will be sound asleep for several hours.
  5. Er... Okay...

  7. Dulwich East, or West Peckham surely?
  8. My dad always tells us to chuck him in the thames in a bin liner.

Sorry, but both The Gowlett and Hoopers are clearly in Peckham! Next we'll have Penge residents saying they live in Higher Crystal Palace... I've-met-jimmy lives just round the corner from Hoopers, and he would never in a million years say that he was from East Dulwich! He is from Peckham, was bought up in Peckham and is proud of that, as well he should be. Do people call Bellenden East Dulwich these days?
  11. Here you go Cookie. If you can't make a match, there is an address you can send orders to. Not to keen on the green on the away shirt this season. I have the away strip from a couple of seasons ago, white with pink & blue trim! Home shirt is ?37 for adult, ?32 for kids. They're decent quality.
  12. Having had a look back, I like this rather bizarre thread about Snorky... Who was 140183??? Most of all I like the summer trip the forumites took to Rancho Relaxo (was quite funny as Sean got well in to the whole cowboy thing, even though it wasn't that sort of Ranch)! ;-)

In fact, Fulham, Boro, Birmingham, Bolton and Spurs are all within 2 points of the relegation zone, so Marseille are actually relative high flyers! >:D< I do agree with Anna (and this is not a victim complex) that when the Arse or Manure trounce a team, all you hear about is how great they were, and the football they played being so beautiful. Liverpool have scored tons of goals recently and left some sides for dead, and all you hear after is how poor these sides have been, not that Liverpool made them look very ordinary... We made Newcastle look absolutely sh!te, just days before they battled to a hard fought draw against Arsenal. Aaaanyway, we're through, that's the important thing... Going to have a tough draw for the second round, but I really hope we get Real!

  15. We did play them off the park, but I think it is fair to say that they are a bit shit, they're only 3 points off the relegation zone, that makes them someone like Fulham ;-) Manc defence are indeed better, but I still think Torres could make them look slow and silly. We'll see...
  16. Not being funny, but I pay enough tax as it is, I don't want to pay more on my beer!
  17. Eeeeeeeasy! Liverpool were not exactly stretched last night, but played really nice stuff. Just want to see Torres tear apart the manc defence!
  18. Er, sorry I'm lost :-S Anyway, I remember early 90's there was talk of moving things around a bit, and stretching Peckham up Lordship Lane. Shopkeepers were going mental about it!

    UFO am I crazy

I walked past the Crystal Palace telegraph tower at about 3am Sunday morning, and noticed that it has red lights attached to it. Maybe people are seeing these refecting.
  21. Do you think even Archway might become okay when Muswell Hill gets too full? ;-)

    Quiet room...

*Is reminded by Brendan's story of the carol service a couple of years ago. Having been roped in to sing tenor, turned up pissed, and insisted on a big kiss from the female vicar after the service* :-$
  23. I know you didn't :) What does "roflpms" mean?
  24. I agree with your time frame. I went to Liverpool in 96, and didn't really come back much at all until I moved back in 2001, and I was surprised by the changes both in ED and Camberwell. At that stage, only the EDT had really changed, and was packed every weekend. Up in Camberwell you had the funky munky and the Red Star which at that time was also packed at the weekends. It was strange seeing a nightlife in this area, having spent my late teens always going over to see friends around New Cross and Blackheath. Between 2002 and 2004 everything seemed to start opening, all the pubs were getting done up, and Lordship Lane was taking it's current form. Funny though that in some ways it still seems the same as it was when I was a little kid.
