  1. Buy a house, buy the CPT, buy sveral more Les Pauls, and build a recording studio in the cellar of the CPT. Pretty much my dream :)-D
  2. Liverpool town centre was one of the first "zero tolerence" zones. Still didn't stop the fights though. Maybe more offys are using paper bags in an effort to help the environment :-S
  3. I'd rather die than have a life that boring!
  4. Lot of time and effort went in to them then :-S
  5. The man stinks of arrogance, can't imagine he'd ever resign.
  6. I have to agree with Jeremy about William Rose's prices, I think they're pretty god, and sell good meat. But again, manners don't cost anything.
  7. I'm no fan of hers, but I absolutely hate the twat she married, and for that reason I'm with her. Unfortunately there was only ever going to be one winner, just because he wrote some good tunes way back when with another dickhead, the man is loved. Shame he wasn't visiting his old song writing partner on that fatefull day! chapman could have gotten 2 for the price of 1, and we would have been spared a lot of pathetic drivle over the years!
  8. We've been waiting since the beginning of the 90's! class players like Fowler, Macca, and Redknapp were outweighed by some absolute toilet! Always liked Berger actually.
  9. Good call!
  10. The only glimmer I can see is that Israel will want to beat Russia and will give them a game. However, even then we'd need to beat Croatia. I think I'd rather just start building properly for the next wold cup than go to another tournament, scrape through the groups and go out in the quarters.
  11. Aaaanyway, Azul, photo??? Gina G anyone ;-)
  12. Er, never really been in to the whole spanking thing.
  13. Fair point. Unfortunately he may play himself back in to the England team... Not that it really matters anymore.
  14. LOL! >:D< It's all about the subtlety Sharp.
  15. Steady Jah, that's maybe going a bit too far... Saying that, if there has to be a winner, I might lean towards Man U, and that's something that disturbs me.
  16. Fallon in Dynasty was an early one for me... Loved Scully in X Files, and have always been a big Kate Winslett fan... Mmmm Winslett!
  17. Ah don't you just love a bad winner ;-)
  18. The Brixtonian was also known as Havana Club wasn't it? I used to love it there, you could openly smoke a joint whilst drinking far too much rum... Ah heady days :)-D
  19. doncha wish your girlfriend was a freak like me? :-S
  20. Shouldn't say this as a married (to a blonde) man, but I have to admit that I've always had a thing for redheads... I do like to know them though PGC, just staring at someones hair and not talking would be awfully dull ;-)
  21. MrBen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > sadly cannot last long in the changing East Dulwich. Just look at those swanky new flats opposite.... You've just described my worst nightmare!!! Basically, for all it's faults, if the "changing East Dulwich" meant that the CPT was no longer used, I would know that East Dulwich was no longer a place for me. I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but I love the feeling of the CPT. I can see exactly why people like The Bishop and the Cherry, and all power to them, I go down to the Cherry quite often, but the CPT offers something completely different, and it would be horrible to lose it. I agree completely about the frontage though!
  22. No, no one will "win" this. For me, your last post just illustrates how different circumstaces will mean different decisions and beliefs. "the pain the feotus may or may not feel when aborted, cannot be compared to the pain a child may feel throughout it's life" Well of course you can't compare them, but for some people the former would mean more than to others, that's exactly the problem whenever this debate comes up. If you take away the biggots, most people are pretty clued up these days, but individuals have different moral make ups, and there will never be a happy medium with this subject. I agree with you completely about looking after the kids by the way.
  23. Just saw this in the news which made me laugh.
  24. I think there's a bit of a difference here in that spadetownboy and others have talked about this place as a pub, and I'm sure in the days and evenings it's quite nice, and a great place to watch footy. However, the problems I have with it are when it turns in to the night spot with the bouncers and the manager thinking he needs to stand there all night on the door. He really can't trust his doormen much if he can't let them handle the money. There used to be one lovely bouncer there (black guy bald head), but others have been arse holes, and the manager has never been friendly to me and I did used to go and spend a lot of money there.
  25. The devil came and took me from bar to street to bookie.
