  2. Yes darling? *looks innocent*
  3. Awlays believe in your soul.
  4. I agree, it was interesting having a ref's view point. Also, isn't that lad from Reading a nice boy :))
  5. I met her in a club down in old soho where you drink champaigne and it tastes just like cheryy cola.
  6. I agree he is a great great manager, but he's a nasty bully at the same time. Funniest thing in that match was the 4th official waving the players away from hugging Arsne Wenger after scoring!

Nah, don't look at him as a proper gooner, he's too nice ;-) Atila, it was more the dismissal of Caragher that got me, but like I say, I was having a bad morning (not hungover though Mockers, I was feeling very very wrong yesterday, so stayed in feeling sorry for myself all day), so guess I over reacted. Oh and Anna, I share your pain with regards Man U. I have hated them for years, and the likes of Giggs and Scholes have been way up there on my hated people list. However, now nostaligia is getting the better of me, and I can't help wanting them to do it one last time and show these younguns how it's done. I will never feel that way towards Neville though the rat faced freak!!! And I can't stand Rooney, Ferdinand or Ronaldo! I am a Hargreaves fan though, and was gutted when he signed for them!

I'm loving the 4 letter words and the excuses!
  11. I apologise Atila, I was having a bad morning when I wrote that. I do know more than one gooner who does become insufferable as soon as they've wona couple of games, and they've made it very hard for me to like their team, even if they mean it as a joke. However, I guess I was generalising a bit. It's a shame, because I do love the football they play, and they have some wonderful young players as opposed to oiks like Rooney. Blackburn Liverpool wasn't a great game, but I didn't think it was a boring game either, well not the second half anyway. I stick by my support of Carragher, although Sean makes a valid point. Speaking of young players, that lad (who's name escapes me) that Liverpool have loaned to Bolton for the season looked useful. Aaanyway, I'll change the subject. Interesting that Spurs new manager chose to start with Bent and Defoe, and Bent scores a lovely selfish goal... Maybe he's going to get a good chance there after all. He will play for a side that's in trouble, something that has been questioned about Berbatov...
  12. Nothing to do with age Charlie, that's always been my problem with it. I really really like it in there, and would call it my favourite bar on LL, but when it gets really busy, I actually feel really uncomfortable. Sure someone said on here there was a rumour they were going to extend out back or upstairs or something... That would be cool!
  13. I really don't understand how you can say Carragher is a bad player. He may not be the best ever, but he has been an absolute rock for us in the past, and we wouldn't have gotten to the final of the champs league in 2005 without him. How many euro finals have Ferdinand or Terry played in? I will say if a player is sh!t, even if he wears the Liverpool shirt, but I don't think Carragher is. I will admit that I hated him at the beginning of his career, easpecially when he put the ball in his own net twice in one match against Man U basically giving them the win in an otherwise tight match! I can't believe how smug gooners can be, I really can't. I know we'd all gloat a bit if our teams won the league, but all the gooners I know are absolutely insufferable! I've never in my life wanted Man U to win anything until last year, I wanted them to beat Chelski because of all the fair weather Chelski fans coming out of the wood work, and I want them to beat Arsenal this year because you're such bad winners, I really can't stand it! (yes it's bugging me that much) For the record, I agree at least that Liverpool won't win the league this year. I let myself be a bit hopeful at the beginning, but there is still quality missing in some areas, and he wasted a flying start by medding with the team too much and throwing away points against sh!t teams.

  15. Well The Castle has had a couple of votes, is that a cheat? To be fair, I had a beer at The Bishop on Saturday afternoon, and sat out in the little yard with the heat lamps. This was rather a nice experience. However, I went in to buy a pint, and remembered why I'm no fan, they had this horrific muzak jazz on, and the bloke behind the bar looked at me like I was rude to be bothering him.
  16. It closed as a chip shop way back in the 80's, and I'm pretty sure the family still live there. Why they never adapted the shop front I have no idea!
  17. Alas I can't do this Friday, I'd forgotten about it, and agreed to go to the theatre (the little one in West Norwood). Still it's only ?6 for a bottle of wine at the bar, so sure I'll enjoy it :)-D Gutted though, as I really wanted to try the FHT.
  18. Was pleased with Liverpool's draw yesterday. We could have won it at the end, but they could have won it at the beginning, so fair enough. Can't believe we're in 7th behind Portmouth Blackburn and Man City :(
  19. Well I'll be in the CPT for the match today if you change your mind Anna.
  20. I drop my pencil on the floor, she bends down and shows me more.
  21. Good work! Hope it leads you to bigger and better (well paid) things!
  22. [Keef your earlier post from God Shuffled His Feet has just prompted me to buy the album off t?internet. Great album. I?ve not heard it in ages!] *You should have said, I'd have copied it for you. You don't meet many others who like them, but I think they're great!) How does a duck know what direction south is, or how to tell his wife from all the other ducks?
  23. City 2 Sunderland 0
