  1. Oh. I don't really remember him at Spurs. I mean I remember him going there, but don't remember much about it, other than him being injured lots, which unfortunately was always the problem. I for one thought he was a wonderful player at his best, but along with Fowler, Liverpool had 2 players who could have really had great England careers had they not had so many injuries. As for Macca, everyone said he never did it for England, but I thought he was one of the best players in Euro '96, making a load of goals, and he looked good in 2000, but then got injured again.

    Fave album cover?

  3. What did he do when he played for Spurs?
  4. No, I did work there for a few months about 11 or 12 years ago before I went off to uni.

    Fave album cover?

Appetite for Destruction - Guns N' Roses http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/966.jpg Although it was banned and ended up on the inlay, replaced by the more famous cross with the skulls representing the band. God shuffled his feet - Crash Test Dummies http://panther1.last.fm/coverart/300x300/2025184-1708272476.jpg The back cover had the original picture without the band's heads.
  6. I think Jamie Redknapp is good, I hate Andy Gray with a passion! I think Lee Dixon is showing a lot of promise.
  7. To be fair, "Dulwuch Hamlet Football Club" is basically in Sainsbury's :-S
  8. That's because it was an hour of cliches for which he was paid something like ?230k!!! I can talk sh!t for way longer than that, why can't I have that sort of money? :(
  9. Well I used to spend more time in the back "lounge bar" or "Old Side" we tend to call it, but in recent times I am definitely in the front "New Side" more often. However, this time of year, I suspect we'll find ourselves back to the long table by the fire in the Old Side. More cosy!
  10. We are 2 Mariners, ships soul survivers, in this belly of a whale. It's ribs are ceiling beams, it's guts are carpeting, looks like we have some time to kill.
  11. You did too, you git! >:D< Won't be forever, just felt like a change, and trying to think of something... Sure "Keef" will be back.
  12. Hurrah!!!!!!! Probably won't be long term, but sticking with it for a while! >:D<
  13. England squad: Robinson, Carson, James, P Neville, Campbell, Richards, Brown, Lescott, Shorey, Bridge, A Cole, Beckham, Wright-Phillips, Bentley, Gerrard, Lampard, Hargreaves, Barry, J Cole, Downing, Young, Smith, Crouch, Defoe, Rooney, Owen. Hmm :-S Ferdinand suspended (muppet!), Terry injured, Richards not fully fit. Just so long as Lampard doesn't get his place back, I don't care if he is scoring for Chelsea!

    British teeth

Maybe our teeth would be better if our dentists weren't such thieving bastards! They will always come up with several things you "need" doing, when you thought you were just there for a filling, and even though max NHS charge is just short of ?300, they'll always make sure you have to pay that amount, and I don't always happen to have a spare ?300 in the back burner! I bit in to something hard a couple of weeks ago, and think I've damaged one of my teeth, but just can't afford to get it sorted at the moment, so the damage will no doubt be getting worse :( All that plus the fact that I am a baby when it comes to the dentists! The drills are lots better these days, and it's not physical pain, but as soon as the drill touches my tooth, and your whole head is full of that grinding noise, I just stiffen, my fists are clenched so tight, and I'm curling my toes! Horrid horrid horrid!!! (6)
  15. Snorky's bar does sound fun! And that should be a good match! Come on the Jocks! *wonders why he bothers, they'll never cheer England*

    SCATTERGORIES

fatfightersforever Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Boy Name: fred > Girl Name: freda At my secondary school there was a trumpet teacher called Fred, and his wife (who also taught brass there) was Freda, what are the chances? Think he used to teach at Heber actually, but this would have been years back now.
  18. Just looked at Lawro's Predictions, and for the most part there are no surprises. However, very surprised to see him giving Reading a 1 - 1 draw to the Arsenal! Reading aren't bad, but can't see it myself...
  19. Hey you, we're having a party.
  20. I seriously don't think you can blame the All bar one itself for that. The area in which it's based has a lot to do with it. There are plenty of places where 20-30 somethings can drink far too much and have a fight if they so chose to. I don't think the introduction of an All bar one will suddenly mean a whole new breed of thug flooding in to ED for a ruck! It would be more liely to be full of the estate agent types. And Madworld74, what???
  21. I love the Desk Staff, I used to think they were grumpy, but aren't we all on a bad day. Lately I've had a bit of a laugh with them. It must be a bit annoying for them having to constantly tell people they can't have an appointment. I know it's annoying when you can't get an appointment, but to be fair, it's really nothing to do with the receptionists, they're just the ones who have to deal with the backlash.
  22. Hopefully their parents saw this and have dealt with them, or they saw this and have realised they're "Wanted", and are behaving themselves... Doesn't really help former victims, but at least the streets may be safer... Either that or they're mugging poor kids a bit further afield! :-S
  23. Agree with what you say there, but to be honest, there are plenty of binge drinkers and trouble makers in ED already. For one example look at the poor guy who got the crap beaten out of him on LL just a couple of weeks back.

Okay okay, so I chose a bad word with "wrong", sorry. I agree they're gits, but what can you do?
