I do agree that if you could provide photographic evidence that a cat has done damage to your garden, the owner should be legally obliged to pay for the damage. I have nothing against cats, but at the end of the day, if it's a fox in the garden killing stuff and making a mess, people don't think it's so cute. (I love foxes by the way).

I don't think you should repeat the Gowlett when there are other places that haven't been done (FHT), and others that were done before it... Obviously Mag hosted the party, so that's out. I would suggest EDT, as it was an early one, not that well attended, and a decent venue... That or The Drum, as we could just take over the whole place and have an EDF party. Or the CPT... ;-)

As Snorky said, a good post, but I have to say Sean, that I think you were defending yourself when it wasn't really you that was being aimed at. I also agree that the ED Warehouse sounds great, but if I was looking for (just say) an interesting and unique necklace for Mrs Keef, I would still go in there, even if there was an "Accessorize" next door, as would most people I think. We all know exactly what we're going to get from a chain, and if I want a certain thing, I like to be able to nip to whatever shop and get it. However, if I want something a bit different, it's nice to have an alternative. NOTE: Accessorize is a shop that I hate with a passion having had a scouse girlfriend who liked it WAY too much! But you get what I'm trying to say. There's room for both people.

Come on mscrawthew, cathg was only messing. They won't end up "off the street" anyway, that's the problem. Hopefully a slap on the wrist from the police would make them think twice, but they're not going to be locked up or anything. A close friend of mine is a police officer who has to work around a horrible estate in Eltham/Shooters Hill (Brook estate), there are a gang of kids there who openly shout abuse at him, and all he can do is get them an ASBO, which he knows won't make a blind bit of difference! It's sad, but that's the place we live in!

Just seen that Van Persie is out for a month... Other players on really good form, but that's still got to be a blow, as he's been on great form!

I'm with you Peckhamboy. People think that East Dulwich is some magical quaint little place with unique little shops... What a load of bo!!ocks. It does have some lovely little businesses, but could definitely benefit from a few bigger names too! That's what I think anyway. PS. I love the name "spudulike"! Subway please!!!!!

It sounds like there is a definite ring leader too, the other 2 are probably too scared to tell her they don't really want to be doing all this... I didn't really do any stealing or fighting, I just played in a band and got in to acid! :-$ Glad I did it young though, cos by the time a got to uni and all these guys were telling me I must try this and that, I couldn't be arsed because it was old skool!

In all seriousness, I'm not sure if this has already been said, but I suspect at least one of this group lives on Crystal Palace Road across from the CPT. I was having a smoke outside a couple of days ago, and saw 3 girls who could quite easily match this description. It also made me remember that a couple of years ago Mrs Keef was coming to meet me at the CPT, and was stopped just around the corner by a group of girls asking for money. She told them to F**k off, and they did (I think they were quite shocked that she didn't seem scared). However, 2 years on, they will have grown in physical stature and confidence, so it could well have been the same bunch. I shall keep my eyes peeled, as I'm quite often at the CPT, and now out of community spirit, I shall endevour to be there more often.
