No, to be honest, I don't think people should be encouraging others to pray on this forum either, but I have no issue with someone saying that they personally pray. I also appreciate the If there's a God how can s/he let this happen, debate, but I think we should take it elsewhere...

I'm not so sure... Yes it's good that people are being reminded, but is it good that people are having a go at the Police over there? I still believe that the drivers of the tabloid machine really couldn't care less.

The ribbons in parliment made me sick! Bloody pretentious media grabbing tossers, like they give a flying f**k! To be honest, I can see why people are so upset, but at the same time, I feel myself more agreeing with Snorky and Mockney... Basically, it is awful, but does anyone think that the people putting the girls face on the front of the paper really care that much if she's alive or dead...... I suspect that so long as they're selling lots of papers to those that do care (and in so doing, making sure they continue to care, and buy more papers), they're happy either way..... It's a cr@ppy media country...... In a couple of weeks time, it'll be the winner of Big Brother, and this poor little girl will be confined to a half page on page 11 :X

Dom, are you a male bouncer? ;-) On the subject of liquorice itself, I have to admit I've never liked the place... I'm not sure why, as it's not really any different to any of the other "bars" down LL, but I just can't get in to it..... As for bouncers... I used to "know" (meaning I drank in the same pub as) a gang of "doormen" in Liverpool and they were total c**ts the lot of them!I know this doesn't mean that all bouncers are bad, but there are plenty like these guys who just want to throw their weight around, and enjoy handing out a few slaps just that bit too much!

Maybe they're just taking ages on purpose so everyone will forget what it used to be like, and think it's really quick when it's finally done :-S Oh, and Sean, sorry to be picky, but feel I should point out the Woolwich cash machine... To be fair AnotherPaul, some people have to fly for their work, not for money making business reasons.... My sister has had to go back and forth to Cyprus several times in the last year (much to her displeasure), and she is not going to sell anything or make money for a big company. I'd happily never fly "locally" again if I could go to Australia (or somewhere that side of the world) every 2 or 3 years. How about we just stop all flights out of America, that way everyone's a winner ;-)

But that would make it pretty difficult to go to Australia :( I wish they'd sort out the trains in this country like out neighbours have.... Lower the ridiculous prices, and stop inter europe flights! Problem is people don't want to use trains because they are very very expensive in this country, and they're crap! So much better, nicer, and faster pretty much anywhere else!

You start it, I'll join in ;-) I did email council regarding the lighting on Whateley Road, as it's awful, and they are going to improve it this year, so that was good >:D< Again, how is it you know so much about it all, are you in the trade, or VI yourself, or something else?????
