Saturday morning is brilliant. I love the politics bit before Fi Glover, and Fi herself and then that travel one. My favourite radio day is Saturday.

Maybe she's just dying for a bit of whatever it is she takes and there aren't any shops to nick stuff from at that hour, or people on the street to beg off, so she knocks you lot up in the hope she'll get enough money to score. I'm glad I sleep like the dead, cos I'd be less than happy at someone waking me up that early!

Did anyone ever go to the Ruthin festival in the 80's? I used to go with a gang of n'er do wells and get smashed in a field and sleep under a bit of plastic. They used to all go and beat up the local Welsh yoots after drinking gallons of homemade scrumpy sold by the hippies and then pass out under a bush somewhere. I think there was music too!

There is a car park behind it, but you have to go through Chourmert road bit to get to it. I prefer Lidl tho.

I'm worried about the current library now, after reading all this. We need to have assurances that if this development gets planning permission, the old library will still be safe.

I agree with the feeling guilty bit when holding up buses, I know how frustrating slow, obstructed buses are as a passenger, it must a total pain for the drivers. I even pull in and let cars pass me if I'm trugging along uphill with my trailer. I think the best solution is to design our cycle ways as a seperate bit between the pavement or and the road or pavement sharing like in Holland that allows even novice cyclists to feel confident using a bike around town.

So what is going to happen to the old library if a new one is built with the flats? That'd give the council the perfect excuse to sell off a prime bit of real estate.

I picked up a couple of parcels the other day from there, and the poor sod trying to deal with all the customers works on his own. They got rid of his workmate and he has to do it all alone. That's why they never answer the phone, cos it's just one bloke trying to deal with everyone and everything. I asked about the backlog and they said it is almost cleared now, so hopefully things will get a bit smoother, but if you are going to write a story, I hope you find out about the staff cuts and include that in it.

I remember people used to that when I was a kid. I think it was church roofs that got hit most often.

Silence cannot be taken as acceptance as far as I remember from contract law and there may be a data protection breach too.
