  1. Maescaragyu or somesuch, in Wales would be perfect. Here's one photo, clickaround for a couple more. Pm for details if you like the cut of Its jib. Ain't mine just spent so e tome ther three years ago. http://m.flickr.com/photos/piers_canadas/253410995/in/set-72157594300809452/
  2. I can lend you both of those keef, I'm all out of consoles mind, unless you want an N64!
  3. I hate twitter, its the epitome of the solipsistic nature of blogging and 'social networking'. Me me, look at me, I'm important!!! I do make an exception for David Lloyd's frankly surreal cricket tweet which is a sort of mad genius.
  4. Anywhere you want muley? Just be site to plant near a nettle patch afterwards ;)
  5. That's good enough for me LG, what was I thinking doubting homeopathy, my bad!!!
  6. Probably because the arnica that contains the anti-inflammatory causes internal bleeding when ingested. If the tablet does contain any it sure as hell won't be doing you any good!!
  7. Plenty of homeopathic creams out there. Muley if it says that word anywhere then bin it, if it's a salve cream or ointment containing arnica then you should be fine. I'd still stick to a combination of savlon externally and vodka internally mind ;)
  8. Keef. The OP specified that it was a homeopathic remedy.
  9. But it's not a herbal remedy is it Keef. It's homeopathy so by it's own definition it is water with any trace ingredient so diluted that by design there is none left. So it's water with a 'memory' of arnica. Otherwise known as utter tosh. Now a dock leaf is an entirely different matter.
  10. Vodka internally and externally is a great combination. Barring that bruises and scratches heal pretty quick don't they. Savalon is your best bet in my book.
  11. "'Street Fighting Years' - Simple Minds " when it all went a bit wrong (assuming with hindsight rather than nostalgia it wasn't all a bit wrong) was listening to Sparkle in the Rain and I think it's still a decent album assuming it isn't the glow of hose young sunny days casting errr umm a shadow
  12. Can of worms. But in short no, cream is nowt but a moisturiser, pill is a sugar pill, let it dissolve in the French fashion if you like, won't make a blind bit of difference.
  13. Likewise modern warfare II. Shops put up their cases wih 'pre-order now' ages ago, and release date has been announced as mid November. Gaaah.
  14. Lus if it wasn't for the dot post option there'd probably be far fewer friends on here than currently exist !!
  15. Depends entirely on the context. In the forthcoming serious discussion room then quite right that emoticons and actions are contemptuous or at the very least annoying, but much on here is essentially conversational which is a physical activity with gestures, expressions and eye contact (or not). None of which exists here, making nuances, irony and physical embellishment nigh on impossible and suddenly posts become very very easy to misinterpret. Until somebody comes up with a decent mechanism to emulate this we're left with exclamations, emoticons and *shrugs* stage directions.
  16. Ah yes had a pop, 130000ish in first game. Good fun, can't way for the real competitive eventsonce it comes outt of beta. Can't believe nobodies thought of doing it before, genius
  17. Yep quids; that's 2 Kubriks so far. Haven't seen Eyes Wide Shut yet, but most opinions I trust (except Keef when it comes to Bladerunner or Withnail & I) say it's pants, which would make it a trio!
  18. well if we're doing ?ber geek trekky fancying, then i'll skip the obvious geri ryan (cripes, mind) and have to go for jennifer lien (kes) who also played Ed Norton's sister in American History X (Simplistic, but powerful film) . I actually abhor all Star Trek, it's so effing worthy and boring, but I'm a natural sci-fi geek, so have watched most of it whether i enjoyed it or no. Oh sod it...Geriiiii ps Bladerunner, one of the best films ever made, everyone at the peak of their powers, even Vangelis!!
  19. Obviously orieu spot must be a contender, barring that then Plough sounds good. Have been some good edf and music nights up there. Maybe a glamarous place out of town? Caeser's perhaps?
  20. I liked him when he was daft. From everything... Via Sleepr through to Annie Hall. It all turned after that. Actuall don't mind Bullets over Broadway, John Cusack rarely picks a turkey.
  21. Jeremy agreed, and yep quids, I also found that film boring. Ok films considered good or great that in reality are bad or just plain boring. Barry Lyndon. Beautiful but dull dull dull.
  22. Not to take this too far off topic, but did anyone have the misfortune to catch Heatstroke the other night. It's almost Ed Wood (his films rather than the film) levels of bad, but couldn't stop watching. Bad by every possible measure. Still, I finally got to answer whatever hapened to Winnie from the Wonder Years.
  23. I actually genuinely really liked dude where's my car. Titanic almost ranks alongside Contact and Forrest Gump as you well know you cheeky man.
  24. No film can be boring while this is playing.
