  1. Can anyone explain to me how showing evidence of a negative lateral flow test works? Surely unless you actually do it in front of the person checking you in (clearly not feasible if there are long queues), you could just use someone else's result? Or just lie?
  2. You might want to post this in the lost and found section as well? And say what the girl's name is, in case somebody on here recognises it?

  5. You don't get black charring on your feet with an electrostatic shock, do you? OP is the shop owned or leased? If leased, surely the landlord is responsible. Have you tried asking the Citizens' Advice Bureau if the council environmental health department is not being helpful?
  6. Purveyor. Especially if followed by "of fine..." something or other. Grrrr.

They changed the rules after a load of people (including me) joined the Labour Party to vote for Jeremy Corbyn as leader. Don't know if it's different for MPs.
  8. Absolutely crap service lately. Packages taking weeks to arrive.

  12. How about this bargain, if that one doesn't appeal .... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313754567488 Cheap postage, too 🤣
  13. Why would anyone be using them in the street and just throw them down? 🙄

"You kings ......" 🤣🤣🤣 ETA: just noticed the post I replied to is from 2015, and sorry I hadn't seen the recent posts on the thread. Sorry for the inappropriate post under the sad circumstances.

It sold chocolate coated coffee beans from s big glass jar on a shelf behind the counter, and had lovely cosy quirky little rooms. It was never quite the same when they knocked it all through, though I understand why they did it.

Just a short time ago (half term) he was preparing the back garden part for winter by putting some kind of roof over it. So this closure seems very sudden 😭

  19. That's a bit odd, as why would you have his details otherwise?
  20. Blue Mountain is closing permanently. I'm devastated. Its latest incarnation was brilliant. It was the first sign of gentrification in East Dulwich many moons ago, but a good one. 😭😭😭

Have a look at Lloyds Direct (used to be Echo). Your relative can get her meds delivered direct to her home. And they arrive on time, even though they come via Royal Mail! Delivery is free.
