But if someone posted personal rubbish about you on a public forum, would you not want to respond? If not, then I admire your restraint. ETA: And let's hope that's the end of it.

Well obviously because if you don't have a two page document there will be nothing to shrink to one page :)

You are wrong. We neither went nor were invited to any special event at MeatLiquor, Nor did we go nor were we invited to the opening. Maybe check the thread in question before posting false information twice and going off topic again. And why would I mention on here previously a place in Walthamstow I went to years ago? It was only relevant because of the raising of pie and mash on this thread. Whereas when I posted about MeatLiquor, it had just opened locally. FFS. I have only replied to your post because you are persisting in posting ridiculous and wrong things about me. I don't know whether you do this deliberately, but please stop. If you are trying to wind me up - congratulations, you are succeeding.

Ah OK thanks! Will try that! Thanks!

Hi yes I know how to do it that way, which is more or less how I have been doing it up to now, but I want to know how to put an icon on the bar so I don't have to go through all that:)

What do Plusnet say about it? Would they not be your first port of call for help if they are your broadband provider? I have found their technical people very helpful when I have (very rarely) had problems.

Sorry admin, but may I just briefly go off topic to inform Louisa that I did not go to the opening night at MeatLiquor, let alone "tell everyone" about it 😀

And it made a profit in the last financial year, and is going from strength to strength, hooray :)

Fox, that is what I did. The shrink one page option is not there.
-
Thanks I will have a look, but I didn't navigate via view. I think I clicked on view in case there was some additional option there when I couldn't find what I was looking for in the list! ETA: OK I have done that. There is nothing on that list between "Shrink font" and "Size" :( No "Shrink one page" that I can see ....
-
I am trying to put the Shrink One Page icon on my Word toolbar, but despite going through the process shown in Office support, the option isn't shown in the "All Commands" list (it jumps from "show/'hide editing marks" to "side to side" - see attached screenshot) I'm sure there's some simple thing I've missed, eg a drop-down menu, but can anybody help as I've already spent too much time on it this morning :( In the past I've done it through "Tell me what you want to do" , but that's just ridiculously slow when I could just click on an icon. Thanks.

Concorde! Pomagne! I never thought I'd hear those names again :))

I find the coach very convenient for the part of Oxford I go to (it makes several stops before the city centre). It's very frequent, and extremely good value, particularly if you are returning the following day And Victoria is easy to get to from ED. ETA: However it is quicker to drive, though less relaxing.

Obviously nobody is going to waste their time going to see something which may turn out to be not what they want. Adding a picture in the first place saves everybody's time, doesn't it?

According to a post above, the thieves at The Actress were wearing helmets. -
As KK surmises, I did not make a special trip to Walthamstow to eat at Manzes. Fox, you appear to be contradicting yourself by now suddenly finding that other people eat pie and mash. And of course I did not think you were referring to me, nor have I taken anything personally, how ridiculous. I was, I thought, pointing out flaws in your and Louisa's weird views by using myself as an example. Who else would I use? But logic does not seem to come easily to either Louisa or yourself, so I don't know why I bother :) Enjoy your "curry" :)

Nigello Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The train from Marylebone is great: it takes about > 50 minutes or so and runs regularly. Bakerloo line > will get you there. Paddington isn't it? Some of the trains to Oxford are remarkably noisy, and the station at Oxford isn't very conveniently situated unless you are being met or getting a taxi .....

Easy to get to Oxford Street for John Lewis, M&S, Selfridges, Debenhams, House of Fraser etc and Tottenham Court Road for Heals, Habitat etc. No parking (at least not easily) but you can get stuff delivered. Will make you lose the will to live, but so will shopping in Croydon, Bromley or the Purley Way :) Although IKEA and Wyevale garden centre are on the Purley Way :))

Just call the child something you like and which suits him/her. My daughter has a name which was virtually never around when she was born (seventies) but then later became really popular. So even if you are trying to avoid popular names, you may find you can't. But I also wonder why you are asking on here when a quick Google would tell you .....

I wouldn't willingly eat it again (bleurgh). I had oysters in Whitstable. I wouldn't willingly eat them again (bleurgh) I had caviare in Moscow. I wouldn't willingly eat it again (bleurgh). I wouldn't eat any of it again if it was five pounds or fifty pounds. Though if I had liked any of it I would happily go back and be "seen dead" eating it. So how does this fit in with your world view as posted above, Fox? I am neither poverty stricken nor a Millwall fan, in case that helps. :))

Just to note, the stop it starts from at the Victoria end is a bit counter intuitive as it is on the "wrong" side of the road. The second stop is nearer Victoria station but you get less choice of seats :))
