But then I live in a bubble of people with similar political views to myself who want this country to be in the hands of people with honesty and integrity who care about looking after everybody, rather than in the hands of a load of self-serving, lying, back-stabbing (insert rude word of choice here) s.
  3. And now the NEC have (has?) stopped all local party meetings. They are really, really desperate, aren't they? Trying to shut down discussion amongst the grassroots members, and desperate to stop the Tory Lite MPs being deselected.
  4. More to the point, Labour's website stated (and possibly still does) quite clearly that if you joined up you would be able to vote in any leadership election. So surely they are in breach of contract? It didn't say anything about "Oh, and you'll have to pay extra".

  6. Boris Johnson as Foreign Secretary ?! WTF ?!
  7. I had a lovely juice in the Small White Elephant on Saturday. Crikey, Foxy, I didn't think you wandered so far from the EDT :))
  8. Went to The Castle last night. They now only have the very cold Guinness and the ordinary kind seems to have gone. Just before 9pm the music was turned up from behind the bar to such a high volume I couldn't stand to sit in there any longer. We took our pints outside, drank them and went elsewhere. Sorry for the neighbours if that is going to be the way of things now.
  9. The "Cut Above" name is just genius for a tree surgeon :)

Yes, so the OP could edit it? Only a suggestion.....

Yes but it is not clear what uncleglen thinks is a regular occurrence. Clearly the example he gives is quite different to the op one and I hardly think anybody would report his.

    Boris is out

    :))

Please clarify. Are you suggesting that because "it has been happening with disgusting monotonous regularity" that therefore incidents shouldn't be reported?

  20. Surely May is the only one with any credibility?

Yes I agree, but the way things are going anything could happen. So I'm not sure about pressing the button.

There are a lot of people around parliament who should be ashamed at the moment. ETA: On all sides.
  23. WTF?!?!?! Yes, May. ETA: Bloody hell, I put my mobile away for a couple of hours and it all kicks off :)) I effing hate Gove.

It's just possible that somebody other than the business owner put the sign there, I suppose. Clutching at faint straws, as presumably if that was the case the owner would, one hopes, have removed it.
