  1. Bollocks. What's got into you today man? Anyone can have an opinion on anything as much as you have a right to disagree with anyone's opinion.
  2. Oh don't go all HTT on me Brendan. It's our birthright to slag off losing captains/teams.
  3. I rather imagined you as a white sports coat and a pink carnation sort of cove.
  4. St Basillisa is the patron saint against chilblains
  5. Too right Brendan, mind you, who'd be our whipping boy if not KP?
  6. If they'd done less farting around chasing money instead of glory, they might have been better prepared.
  7. 17 for 2. What a load of cobblers. Hello - anyone else out there? Am I carrying the weight of England's anguish on my shoulders alone?
  8. For some bizarre reason, I've always fancied Donald Sutherland.
  9. From the CricketLive commentary: Over 50: Broad 0-1-4-1-2-1 : 387-5 - And finally the misery is over, I've not been that happy to see something come to a climax since I had the misfortune to go and pay to watch Miss Congeniality at the cinema.
  10. Not a promising start. I do think men are more exquisitely bitchy than women. The whole of the Radio 4 commentating team managed to accuse Yuvraj of cheating without being explicit.
  11. Surely you mean 25 yards? I have one of those. And I can plunge to the bottom of a pool in my jim jams and retrieve a brick.
  12. I'm with Moos. I'd managed to avoid any detail and frankly I'd rather not know. It's enough to know that there are shit people out there and incompetence at some level by professionals that needs dealing with.
  13. Exactly what I thought, Moos.
  14. Okay. I've solved it. Saw the van on Crystal Palace Road - had a good gander. It has pictures of cats on the back windows and looking from the cab backwards I could see it had a caged interior. Obviously it rounds up all the stray cats in East Dulwich pretending to be an elephant warden van so they are bamboozled and go quietly.
  15. In defence of Battersea Parks Police, I encountered a lovely one when I received a parking ticket. There were extenuating circumstances and he advised I appeal and quote his number as witness. I was let off the fine.
  16. I do think it was Jack Bertrand Russells being walked.
  17. I'm with JimmyD. Those posh school brats need a shake up one evening*. I'll bring the Diamond Whites. *Has anyone noticed that the drug-dealing hoodies have been superseded by the PSBs in the last six months?
  18. There are three young chaps who persistently walk their three dogs in the family section at 7 am most mornings. I fear I lack the courage to tackle them. To whom does one tip the wink in officialdom?
  19. I want to be carried off in a motorcycle and sidecar combo. I have no issues with a pink hearse.
  20. One of the dogs I walk has indeed jumped over the outer fence, but the function of the outer fence is not to keep dogs in or out. The fence down the middle path is to separate dog and dog-free areas - if it can be cleared easily, it is obviously not 'fit for purpose' (hate that phrase but it works here).
  21. Maybe it's a silent protest to return the Elephant & Castle to its fetching shade of pink. I rue the day that some eejit thought it would be a good Red Nose Hoot to paint it red.
  22. I'm in love with Paul Weller.
  23. Jah, here's a picture of Dawn for your edification: http://www.peterwilliams.org/images/Gallery/500px-Apollo.jpg
  24. It's very seasonal to peruse a ho.
  25. Highway Code re bicycles, no dispensation for age: 64 You MUST NOT cycle on a pavement. [Laws HA 1835 sect 72 & R(S)A 1984, sect 129]
