I think economic class and 'class' class are two separate things. One could be the Duke of Peckham yet not have two ha'pennies to rub together; or one could have earned a ?1.2m bonus last year and aspirate one's aitches!

FYI the March issue of Southwark Life states: "How clean and well-kept an area is can have a big effect on how safe people feel.
