Lordship Lane Independent Traders On TV Tonight @ 6.30pm
cella replied to Zak's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I've had 3 over the past week outside what is a bedroom - when challenged all of them turned off immediately. I think some of it is habit. -

Said it before and saying it again - please come back Rendelharris - your robust and intelligent views are sorely missed.

Barry Road paint markings everywhere
cella replied to dougiefreeman's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
We have some with PR and a squiggle. Thought it might be the parking restrictions coming early! -
Pathetic. Yet again, why even bother? alumbu Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > REMOANERS are self serving, arrogant parasites who > make no meaningful contribution to life in the UK

Really miss Rendelharris on these issues. Come back.

Think I posted more or less this a while ago. Looks very shoddy and dangerous . People who have already bought must be raising concerns surely? Also Southwark must have a role and responsibility in this somewhere. The food waste currently goes into the brown bins with garden waste? Brown bin collection - Council starting to charge?

Can't see how this is a good decision. Not clear whether this charge is for food waste or just garden waste in bags? -

You sound very anti green issues - surely not? New Southwark Plan - Consultation until 17 May 2019
cella replied to AylwardS's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Don't think it's new - just a clarification and proper inclusion in future borough wide provisio. -
Southwark council tax bills for 2019/20 - value for money?
cella replied to trinidad's topic in The Lounge
In general yes good value. They won't be all things to all people at any one time but there are many good policies. I don't always agree with some of them and I certainly think they've been badly advised on some things to do with the many jewels in Southwarks crown - they are very developer led imho and also tend to bow down, initially at first, on Network rail land issues. On these occasions, engaged constituents, local organisations, campaigners etc have done stirling work in highlighting areas of concern and quite often turn them around, e.g. Historic buildings, the cinema, the area behind the station etc. A lot of people are unfortunately disengaged from politics and only get active when it's a concern close to their individual hearts, e.g. the Cpz. Like most LAs Soutgwark has been kept stripped of cash so any income generating schemes which can also benefit the community will have to be considered. -
Well with Momentum poised to target Harriet Harmans long held seat it will be interesting to see if anything filters down to the local level afterwards.

When you say "will become toxic..." think that ship sailed many moons ago.

Best to examine your own trolling style and have an attitude rethink. I hope Admin steps in here.

Are people still really paying cash to builders these days?

Your first word sums up most of your posts Malumbu - usually just plain weird - why bother.

Council parks to charge ?2ph parking fee from 1 April

Very uninformed rant and very untrue. It's nice in there - popped in briefly just for a reckie earlier. Is the old store to become something else or part of the new station project?
