Not devastated- see the other site that's running on this.

Fantastic if true. The Aneto site maybe?

Used to love going in there as it's on the doorstep but on recent visits experienced loud music which they refused to change or turn down, slow service etc and not replying to customers online so a large part of this is down to customers voting with their feet round here as there is so much choice rather than a general decline.

Thank goodness.

Leave and get on with it. There is so much that is wrong with this I don't know where to start. And incredibly simplistic,

In what way is he? He is not part of the Government.

Can anything be done about noisy weekend builders?

Here are the hours permitted by Southwark. https://www.southwark.gov.uk/environment/environmental-protection/construction -
Rosie's in ED Road is great. Nice chips and friendly staff. We order for local meetings so,etimes and they are very accommodating.

What are the rules about large bits of cardboard and delivery residue? Up to now I've carefully compressed and folded it down to stack tidily beside the bins. The bin men collected this in the usual way. Over the last few weeks they've just flung this out of the way and then left it strewn across the front of the house. There wouldnt be room in the blue bin to store it so what do we do?

I've just redecorated our front bedroom after subsidence repairs and the bay window now has 50 mm white wooden slat blinds - think this is the same as plantation blinds maybe? Looks lovely and the room is completely transformed. It's a real pleasure going to bed each evening as it feels like a hotel room whilst doing everything you describe above.

There is no way this is Council advice - why bother to post this no matter how annoyed you are?

I saw one ambling along on my usual route by the big houses/church on Goose Green. Haven't stopped shuddering yet. -

I was referring to the cpz a propos the title. Most other local councils, regardless of political affinity, have similiarly introduced charges for certain services and have introduced cpz schemes after consultation. I am in favour of the cpz but less so on the garden waste charge as it may be counter productive. The idea that the current council is Marxist is laughable. -

Maybe reconsider reporting it - if nothing else it goes towards building stats. I'm slightly concerned as there's a pile of similiar outside our house at the moment so will see if there's a weekend visit.

You don't care how others view us?

The new position is in the leaflet sent to all households outlining the arrangements for garden waste subscription/collections.
-
Have they written to you to say that? Otherwise it seems strange to have a link to report this sort of thing. After it's reported wonder what they do with the information. I'll give it a go anyway.

We have a big problem with bins permanently stored on pavements and we were considering logging on to the link mentioned in an earlier post.

The bin men are not required to put bins back. With the new rules residents are supposed to place their bins on the edge of the property in time for pick up. The garden waste bin has to be presented with the sticker visible.

Colin has just painted my hallway and the finished result is great. I'll be using him again to put up blinds. Recommended.

Another recommendation for Stephen and Simon who fitted my hall carpet today. Stephen is efficient and a good communicator. The fitting is excellent and I'm very happy with the final result.
