  1. The big sign above the shop which says "Houseplants and Botanical Goods" might give you a clue. Louisa Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- Not sure what they sell though? > Louisa.
  2. Well he/she is cruel to cats, so it's not hugely surprising that he/she would be cruel to you, Admin!
  3. I feel your pain. It's hard when 352 people have started threads about this and you feel a bit left out.
  4. Admin are being very reasonable, so do try and be a little less rude.
  5. At least you tried Sue.
  6. Nope. I just think it's depressing that one of the few positive threads here descended so quickly in to negativity. Jules-and-Boo Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > edcam - do you work there? why has it touched such > a nerve?
  7. If you get off theirs, I will.
  8. The fact that they have other branches is neither here nor there. DF - your misanthropic world view is very tedious at times. Just try and be a bit pleased for them.
  9. Or you could just try being pleased for a local business for a change.
  10. The thread wasn't about another shop. It was about Postmark. And you had to go and p**s on their chips. Angelina Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > no agenda, other than highlighting that there are > other fantastic businesses in our area and that > they also deserve a mention. > > It's not a negative point. I didn't say I didn't > like Postmark.
  11. It's about time they stopped using animals.
  12. This forum makes me despair sometimes. Why can't a well-run business be congratulated on an accolade? Why do these sad characters who think their opinions are of interest have to undercut a rare, positive thread in such a mean spirited way? It does make you wonder what their agenda is.
  13. But of no use to the poor child. flocker spotter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > its his birthday looming, this is significant to > them
  14. What Joe Legg said. Surely the imperative is for him to pass away in the safest, most comfortable way possible? That entails the immediate availability of the best specialist medical care available, which wouldn't be possible at home. 15. High rent?
  16. Although I feel terribly sad for the plight of these parents, I do wish they'd think about the child's best interests.
  17. This may well be the most tiresome thread in EDF history. Who gives a toss what Companies House has to say?
  18. Definitely the best card shop I've been to. Congrats to them, well deserved!
  19. It would seem that this US "miracle worker" doctor was not what he seemed. http://metro.co.uk/2017/07/24/us-doctor-who-wanted-to-treat-charlie-gard-had-financial-interest-says-great-ormond-street-6802891/
  20. I've seen several non-white staff working in the place over the last few years, so this story sounds dubious at best.
  21. There are already rules in place and potentially heavy fines. Trouble is that it's unenforceable and rare for anyone to get caught. Depressing, as the vast majority if dog owners are responsible and are probably more annoyed about the offenders than anyone. danfellows Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How can we stop inconsiderate dog owners shitting > on the pavements of East Dulwich especially on > kids routes to school. 22. Oh brilliant!!! Having a bad week and this has really cheered me up! bettyorange Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Well done that was him! > Now all reunited with his people.
  23. I expect it does but your standards aren't very high, as we know. Louisa Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > You people must have been looking at different > pictures, that salad looked fresh and tasty to me. > > > Louisa.
  24. But even taking that into consideration, it still looks awful. What the hell is that salad about?! DulwichFox Wrote: > > The pictures are poor. Taken on a windows phone in > poor light. reduced / Compressed in Flickr > Then further reduced to fit on Forum Page. > > Sorry. The food was remarkable and fresh. > > Foxy.
  25. Not a puppy but I saw this earlier?:
