  1. Hubby and me, casually walking down LL and the loudest thundercrack imaginable. Hubby ducked. Not sure if that usually works but on this occasion we were unscathed. Yes, and bricks blown out of the back of your house doesn't sound like much fun.
  2. The general feeling among agents seems to be that prices have levelled off in recent weeks. People have been asking for overinflated prices and those sales have stalled now and it's likely to stay that way for a bit.
  3. Once upon a time you'd earn many times that for a commercial. Is this a studio fee plus repeats or is it a buyout?
  4. It's quite a feat to have missed the coverage of this.
  5. Let's hope they ketchup with the perpetrator(s).
  6. Who said it was domestic violence?
  7. Yes, the 2040 thing does rather detract from the excitement.
  8. All road users have a responsibility to be as safe as they can possibly be, whether lorries, cars, buses, motorbikes or bikes. I find it frankly bizarre that anyone thinks riding around at night on a bike with a kid with no lights is anything but irresponsible.
  9. Yay! Another house prices thread!
  10. Yes, second grade? We don't have such nonsense in Blighty you know.
  11. Tell us about the PIG thing!
  12. I want to know more about the "PIG" story.

Are you this unpleasant in real life?
  14. Further to James' comment, an interesting article saying Councillors support two routes http://www.london-se1.co.uk/news/view/7741
  15. I don't take it to heart, just think it's stupid.
  16. Why the competition? Ridiculous.

However, our weather is now in your hands.
  18. It's nature's revenge on those who spell lightning "lightening".
  19. Let's see how many threads about the cinema we can get to. Who knows, it might even beat the number of threads about the site of the old ED Garden Centre!
  20. It's all available on the Land Registry after a while. Are there not better things to fret about though?

    Pop ups....

    Rye Lane? Gentrified? Come now.
  22. Hated Gove, glad he's gone. Now we have Nicky Morgan, who voted against marriage equality. This I find worrying.
  23. Agree with Artful. Irresponsible post.
  24. The Croxted Road one is good. Not so much for house plants but they cram a lot into a small space. We really miss the ED Garden Centre, there are none locally that are as well stocked as that was. We drive down to Coolings in Knockholt mostly. It's amazing.
