  3. So you now criticise me for using 'I' when saying what I do. Well I usually get criticised for using the Third Person using The Fox or Foxy. So what am I supposed to use when expressing my opinions or replying to criticism aimed at me. DF
  4. Nice review Mike P. I haven't been to Berlin Since late 70's. Was a bloody big wall there back then. :) And David Bowie had a Studio there. In late summer 1976 David Bowie & Iggy Pop started their work at legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin Kreuzberg district - directly at the Berlin Wall in the so called no man?s land Not sure if they still do the Studio Tour but if you are a Bowie Fan. http://www.musictours-berlin.com/bowie-tour DulwichFox
  5. Gloom Monger .. I was Out on the Lane again last night 'Shit. I MUST stop saying that.' Socialising. Whilst those pointing the finger were sitting behind the safety of their computer keyboard. Sad. I have been called a 'Social Butterfly' Which I suppose I am. Egocentric ?? Hardly. I talk about things I know about. You don't hear me going on about Football. I'm my own biggest critic. One just gets drawn into the EDF game from time to time. The 'My Dad's as Big as the Sky' thing. I give opinions on experiences of venues in Ed Good & Bad. I do not hand out Personal Insults here on EDF and then look for others to back them up . If I have something to say I say it to a persons face. I get on with most people so that situation seldom arises. Always up for a bit of banter though. Never comes to blows. Anyway busy day ahead. Was suppose to have a talk with The Crime Prevention Team for ED at 11.00 but they have had to re-schedule. Just doing my bit for our Community. So I'm off to Tesco's to do my weekly shopping. Every little helps. DulwichFox
  6. Sorry. I'm out now meeting my public. I've had enough for one day Fox
  7. RPC I have no objection to ANYONE moving to ED. and integrating. I do object to people who come here and want to change everything but my Curtains. Or even my Curtains.. DF
  8. Seabag Wrote: Interesting, but tell me your assumptions on my schooling ? What's with the cap M in Me? ---------------------------------------------------------------- Re: I love grappling Posted by Seabag Today, 09:11AM I did competitive Judo into my early 20's. I started at 6/7 whilst at boarding school .. No assumption. You told us.. Capital M in Me. ? I tend to capitalise some words to express the stress of the spoken word.. DulwichFox

  11. Well Seabag you've had a go at Louisa and you've had a go at Me in various threads.. Well I did not go to Boarding School like you. (I like grappling thread) so not had the Education you have had. The Next door Neighbours They are a joke. They cultivate a Garden, Which they Smoke. And they send their kids to local schools. They must be growing up a bunch of Fools.. The Raven Liverpool Scene :)

If you want to learn a language, try Turkish. Its one of the easier languages to learn. No irregular verbs. No masculine feminine neuter Nouns and uses The International Phonetic Alphabet And there are several outlets in ED where you can put it to the test. I do. Happy New Year. DulwichFox
  17. Many years ago I made a New Years Resolution that I have kept to.. That was to never make another New Years Resolution. ... and I never do. DulwichFox
  18. Ken Livingstone told us to stay away when he was Mayor. Why not have the display in Hyde Park ? Plenty of space for people to gather and surrounded by dozens of Bus Routes and Tube Stations. Too simple. No lets have it in a congested area and collect ?1M in ticket sales and deny 1,000s of people a chance to see them. Whilst the rest of the world put on Free displays for all to see. 20. So people complain when Fireworks are set off at night and then others complain when they are set off during the day. Having attended Carnival in Catalonia and other parts of Europe I can tell you daytime Fireworks are very common. Some of the biggest displays in the World are in the daytime. One of the Worlds biggest:- Mathaf Opening of Cai Guo-Qiang: Saraab https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gzl47oXrdo Google and you will find many more. DulwichFox
  21. To me it sounds like a problem with Overheating.. Very common with Dell Machines. Possibly / Probably due to dust in the cooling fan compartment. On some machines a grill can be removed to access the fan were it should be easy to remove the fan assembly to assist cleaning. Under no circumstances use a vacuum cleaner to try and suck out the dust They are too powerful and could damage the fan irreparably.. There are compressed air canisters availably that can be used to blow the air away. Not necessarily the best option. Great care needs to be taken to immobilise the fan blades. This can best be achieved by inserting a cocktail stick through the grill. Please feel free to PM me if you require further assistance. DulwichFox
  22. Some friends of mine got a cab from Grove Park (Downham) not Camberwell on Christmas morning to the EDT and were charged just ?13.00 So ?9.00 on a normal day from Kings to North Cross is outrageous. DulwichFox
  23. I would not consider this place as the best place for Academia. From my earlier question on the meaning of Academic :- 'Having no important consequence or relevancy' would seem to fit the bill. Most people here are mainly concerned with the merits of Pizza, Croissants or Coffee. Any attempt to strike up any debate on anything more meaningful is likely to be met with contempt. DulwichFox
  24. Please Davis & Robert Poste's Child.. This Thread is about Fox Hunting.. There is a Thread about Academics. (Davis) If you both wish to continue your constant Bickering may I suggest you either continue it there or find a School Playground where you can both scratch each others eyes out. DulwichFox
  25. Which Meaning of Academic are we relating to here. ? 1. Relating to institutionalized education and scholarship, especially at a college or university. 2. Relating to studies that rely on reading and involve abstract thought rather than being primarily practical or technical. 3. Having little practical use or value, as by being overly detailed, unengaging, or theoretical. 4. Having no important consequence or relevancy: DulwichFox
