  3. Shame that so many so called 'Talented Artists' rely on defacing other people's properties to show off their work. So much of it now that most of it goes unnoticed. Why not use some other media to display ones work and see how many people would actually be willing to pay for it. DulwichFox
  4. People have the right to Restore/Repair any damage to the property they have paid Hundreds of Thousands of pounds for that has been vandalised by some little oik. They should them the bill for any such restoration. DulwichFox.

I found it amusing. > > BTW Foxy, I saw the link to your website elsewhere > and was surprised you mentioned Dulwich Wood. > Where is that? Nice website. Thanks Alan... Yes.. It was meant to be amusing.... Website is under constant re-construction. Shops and businesses have a tendency to Pop-Up and close down. Not sure what is happening with BoHo. Has it closed down. ? Dulwich Wood. ? If you go up to the Grove Tavern (Closed) opposite is a gate where Cox's Walk starts. Walk up Cox's walk which gets steeper as you approach the top. There you will find Dulwich Wood. You can go left over the bridge which crosses a redundant railway line. (track long removed) If you follow the path there is a strange little stone folly (not sure what it was.) Walk on a bit further you will come across a Tunnel. The tunnel is closed off and is home to a colony of Bats. http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/c/crystal_palace_high_level/crystal_palace_high_level(2.1976)39.jpg The other end of the tunnel can be seen on Crystal Palace Parade where the old Crystal Palace Station was. There is an exit on to Crescent Wood Rd. If you had gone right on entering the wood you would follow the path to the right and entering a small opening (difficult to find at certain times of the year) carry on past a small pond.. on and on .. eventually you will come to an opening where 5 paths converge. The one to the right will take you to College Rd. Go straight across for a further 300 mtres. you will exit the wood onto a steep path. At the bottom is Sydenham Hill Station. At the top you will be rewarded with a nice pint at the Dulwich WoodHouse. Enjoy DulwichFox
  6. Hi Johnnyboy.. Some fantastic photos on the http://www.camberwellboroughcouncil.co.uk website. Particularly liked the pictures of The Antique shop Austins. Have previously searched in an attempt to find it but had failed. DulwichFox
  7. Hi Sue.. I have a Google account with G-mail.. I have 5 email accounts with btinternet.com (For specific emails) I also have 2/3 further e-mail accounts with 4Logic Solutions where my web site is hosted. These are already re-directed to my primary G-mail account as 4Logic Solutions does not allow transfers to btinternet.com (Cross Domain Restrictions) BT is not a trusted domain. http://www.dulwichnightout.com (still very much under construction) Does have an 'Events' page including links to http://www.thegooseisout.com Still working on it as some CSS transitions may not work due to Cross-Browser restrictions . :( So already complicated set up. Just P'd off with BT Foxy
  8. I lose my BT Internet Service many times every day. (10 Times) Cannot update/ download anything more than a few Mgbytes. Fails on things like iTunes update which means iTunes crashes and needs to be uninstalled / reinstalled. Which is a real pain to do. I only stay with BT because of the hassle of changing my e-mails. It is a crap service. (Used to be brilliant) Then they took away Free Web Hosting. (Which was very basic with no PHP , MySQL) Now they are trying to sell me BT Infinity. Another pile of Poo. Simple Port Forwarding made complex. If not impossible. BT Helpdesk unable to confirm if facility is provided. So don't want to commit to new contract. DulwichFox

Where in the Draft House is there space for a Brick Oven.... ? And being that there is residential accommodation above, I doubt very much it would be allowed. There would be considerable problems with Heat and Insulation. May be wrong. ?? DulwichFox

  11. All Foxy needs to do is compose a story based on the very subject of the thread. My little version.. with a hint of humour.. Staferjack pipes up.. and WW III breakes out. Otta asked ?8 for a bottle of beer??? Where? I just replied... People need to chill. Have some fun. Stop taking everything here (EDF) so literally. Get out, talk to people. No one is going to bite. Foxy is going to lay down in a dark room. DulwichFox
  12. The Drafthouse had a beer for.. ?12.75 St Stefanus 750ml 9.0% ?12.75 This speciality Belgian Blonde is an unpasteurised, high fermented A larger bottle but still ?12.75 Also Samichlaus 330ml 14.0% ?7.75 So there you go. Foxy

Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Also foxy, whilst you're right to say that house > prices tend to be high in areas with "boutique" > services, I don't think it's realistic to say that > a person can't afford a house because they've > treated themselves to a posh burger! I could live > off rice and water and I'd still not be able to > buy a place in ED. You miss my point.. So does not matter what you eat. House prices are artificially high because the area has been so called 'Gentryfied' That comes about by having trendy bars and restaurants on your doorstep. So people patronising these places are helping to raise prices in the area. It also has a knock on effect of small shop owners no longer being able to pay over inflated rents. Big chains take over and the area is ruined. My point earlier. DulwichFox
  14. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Do you hate dulwich foxy? No mate... I would not live here if I did. I could easily move out and rent out my ED property.. It is because I like it so much I recent people who are trying to ruin it. Like when people are happy to pay ?12.00 for a Burger or ?8.00 for a bottle of beer and then go on about not being able to buy a property in the area. Well the two go hand in hand. Foxy.

  17. No one at the barrier at East Dulwich Station so the ticket I had purchased was not required. Leaving the station I was drawn to a commotion outside The Cherry Tree pub where a rotund red faced fellow was arguing with a guy in Chef's attire. As I walked towards towards Goose Green an open space where sheep used to graze, I played broken buscuits with the cracked flagstones. I slipped on somthing quite nasty but was unable so make out what it was due to street lights being out. On reaching the roundabout I noticed the damaged brickwork where the 176 bus had struck it. A bycycle with buckled front wheel was tied to the railings. I shuddered at what may of happened. I looked up Lordship lane where there were blue flashing lights whiched appeared to be outside The Bishop Pub. The road was taped off. I turned on to East Dulwich Road. People were taking their dogs for their last bodily functions of the day. Some with little blue plastic bags scooping down to retrieve the business. Others not so. Walking past the childrens playground, a group of young lads and lasses were drinking from cans and having a bit of a laugh.. Crossing the road at the new crossing, the one were no one knows which lane they are supposed to be in. I approached the doors of Tesco Metro. They were closed. The place had just been robbed. Aquarius Moon was not suggesting using Antibiotics as a cure, AQ was suggesting Antibiotics could be the cause. Having said that 'many doctors are prescribing antibiotics for IBS' http://digestivehealthinstitute.org/2012/09/18/antibiotics-for-my-ibs/ Also, in some cases, symptoms get worse after taking a course of antibiotics. Antibiotics kill certain harmless or good bacteria in the gut, which changes the balance of bacterial types in the gut. http://www.patient.co.uk/health/irritable-bowel-syndrome-leaflet DulwichFox
