  6. Royal Mail's annual profits have jumped 25% thanks to better-than-expected growth in its parcel delivery business. Parcel deliveries rose 3% thanks to shoppers' insatiable appetite for online shopping, although the number of letters posted fell by 6%. Royal Mail put the rise in parcels down to upgraded computer systems, which allow the packages to be sorted faster. Pre-tax profits rose to ?335m in the year to 26 March from ?267m, while revenues grew 1% to ?9.8bn. Article here:- http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-39959159 DulwichFox
  7. One on Ulverscroft yesterday with two 'keepers' ? whatever they are called, who stopped and chatted with bemused onlookers. Foxy.
  8. I wasn't there yesterday but have always thought the stage was in the wrong place. Being where it is, people getting drinks and some food have to trudge through the people seated on the ground watching the music. If the Stage was at the end facing the length of Goose Green this would avoid this problem. I know this idea is not popular with the Music organisers Sue and Nygel. We have to consider what is more practical especially in terms of Safety. DulwichFox

  21. I retired in 2008 having spent nearly 14 years traveling from East Dulwich to the Borough on the 40 or 176. The Walworth Road and Camberwell Green has never been any different. Worst time was the 18 months+ when they were doing the road narrowing scheme down to one lane in each direction. DulwichFox
