The dog often sniffs around behind a new shed the tenants have just built and as a result may of been missed when the occupants went out. The dog is very friendly and appears well fed and looked after. It looks quite old. My neighbour once locked himself out and was concerned about his dog being out in the garden (Summer time) I let him through my place so he could climb over our fence. I'll find out what happened next time I see my neighbours.. They are very approachable. If there was any animal cruelty, I would be the first to report it. Foxy

I think there was a program / news item about that place on TV. The knives are VERY expensive but also not too Aesthetically pleasing if I remember rightly. I don't have a safe place to store my new knife so it stays in it's box at the mo. It is extremely sharp and although I have the equipment to sharpen all my other chef knives my new knife will need professional sharpening. Not many places do Japanese Knives. Foxy.
  3. I live next door to the dog. I have looked over the fence and the dog is wagging it's tail at me. I have knocked at the door as the owners sometimes work from home. there is no reply. Even when the dog is left indoors, if the curtains are not drawn, it barks all day if the owners are out. DulwichFox

  8. Would people want to be seen buying condoms... lol ? Like. 'Do you have anything a little bigger? ' Spoken in a LOUD voice.. Foxy.
  9. It is sign written as 'Bonne Bouffe' They spent a lot of time getting the paint job right. Now looks very smart from the outside. Haven't peered in yet. Looks like they are here to stay. (not a pop up) Lets wait and see what's on offer. (Can remember when it was 'Golden Tandoori' 1980 ish.) DulwichFox
  10. Well.. Christmas to me was just another Sunday.. and Sunday is just another day.. I eat the same things as I would on any other day.. Nothing special.. I don't eat MORE than I normally would. I don't drink MORE (Alcohol) than I normally would. Christmas means nothing to me.. ...and NYE. I will drink what I drink on any given day. a couple of pints and perhaps a drop of Rum. ? ...and hopefully get home before midnight and miss all the idiots staggering home and puking every where. Cannot wait for it all to be over. Foxy.
  11. All of them I would think. Some may be charging.. although the general trend seems to be FREE entry. DulwichFox
  12. To be honest.. Let's look at the options... 1. Queue up for 20-30 mins to get served at one of the local independent outlets. Get to your turn to find sold out of want you want. ? 2. Shop at one of the large Supermarkets and queue for 20 - 30 mins to pay. Get to pick what you want. Choose the item that best suits you. Foxy

  14. Well yes.. there is an element of 'tongue in cheek' but someone has gone to a lot of trouble to produce it. I think it deserves some credit. Not to sure about the place names but 'Wemba Lea' was what first caught my eye. Pure Genius. DulwichFox

  18. There is a Mario cleaning service that covers East Dulwich and does a window cleaning service. Unlikely that an established business would be knocking on doors in the evening of Boxing Day. I'm with K.K on this one. Casing properties. Many people will be away at Christmas time ... Checking who is in.. who lives there... is there an alarm... dog... DulwichFox

  24. I used to be a fan of Jamie Oliver.. But I now find him so Fecking Irritating.. #These little bad boys... #Sprinkle. From a height. His big Crusade on Sugar yet last week he was making some Sweeties with his children made from drizzling a sugary syrup on to grease proof paper ? then pouring melted chocolate it and waiting for it to set. Much of his earlier stuff involved loads of Sugar. and we still get repeats of it. Hippocrite Foxy..
