Is eurax lotion ok for a two year old? I bought it on recommendations from this thread but realised when I got home that it said for three years and over .

The centre is known to force mothers to give up breastfeeding and even make them take drugs to dry up their milk. The kids are also put up for adoption. There is a lot more information and their terrible practises coming to light. That Guardian article was put up with no supporting evidence BEFORE the doctors and other reports came out. It is sound that the mother is in complete sound health and that the centre lied. You can get all this information and more on the offical site.

If you read the blogs and the letters from the doctors etc you will find that the Guardian is in fact incorrect http://www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FWeAreAllHabiba%3Fsk%3Dinfo%23%21%2FWeAreAllHabiba%3Fsk%3Dwall&width=230&colorscheme=dark&show_faces=true&border_color&stream=true&header=true&height=427

Allergy to Formula?!!!
Dulwich Born And Bred replied to 2Loulou's topic in The Family Room Discussion
My GP was great , he wrote me a prescription for non dairy formula whilst we wait on our hospital appointment but my son refused to take the formula so I have just continued with breastfeeding. Never ever intended to feed longer than a few months but he has allergies , my breast milk is the best thing for him so as tiring and hard as it is, I just tell myself it won't be for much longer! My son also has allergies to nuts and some fruits. You will pretty much know the allergies due to hives or poos etc, o tend to every few months test a bit on his face to see if he reacts. Hope you get it sorted soon. -
Allergy to Formula?!!!

My son is allergic to formula and he just got a rash on his face, nowhere else. HIPP causes the worst rash. -

I am by the sea and I don't drive and I am out and about all the time. I do my major grocery shop by ocado delivery so only need to pop into my local supermarket for bread etc. Taxi services here are excellent also and same price as London roughly. Local school is ten minutes walk, there is a shopping centre in town. I definitely feel a stronger sense of community here than Dulwich. My sister who lives in Maidenbower and my mum all want to live here now! I stayed in High Wycombe and Catford for a while and disliked both areas. Different people have different needs and my area meets all my needs. I thought I would struggle as did other people but it has been effortless. I am supposed to come and stay in Dulwich once a month but I cannot tear myself away from here and instead everyone has been coming here for fresh air, the sea and countryside. The unknown is always scary but how we perceive things is not always so. -

The teenagers and kids here are really happy as there literally is loads for them to do that does not cost a fortune. I know my son will be absolutely fine getting around as the bus service here is excellent , every 15 minutes. I used my mum as a taxi service in London as I definitely did not feel safe travelling back from certain areas late at night on a bus. So quite a myth that the countryside is all dull , and with bodies in ditches. -

Wished I had not read this: Latest news News I really really hope the witnesses will speak up on Daniel's behalf. It is a horrible tragic incident and I hope that someone out there will be brave enough to help those who did this to him punished by stating what they saw. I watched the iplayer Scenes from a teenage killing and I cried , as a mother , it is just one of my fears of something like this happening. RIP Daniel, and I would not even like to hazard a guess to how his family must be feeling :(

I spent ?225 on a mattress from Mama's and Papa's that my son never slept on ( he sleeps with me) I feel robbed! I bought it after recommendations on here and thought that it would fool him into thinking it was just like Mummy bed but it never worked. Never again! I think second hand is only acceptable if it has not been used for a long time, has been stored correctly, and not been used with a rather sickly baby and has covers that can be removed/cleaned.

I thought it was just me but yes the forum has been very slow for the past couple of days.

Weaning breastfed baby before 6 months
Dulwich Born And Bred replied to EDmummy's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Not read the posts on here but my breast fed son was not interested in solids until around 10 months old and still hardly ate much, even today at 16 months he is not much interested in food but yet he is just over two stones in weight!! I always took a multi vitamin during breastfeeding also and tried to give him things ( not cereals as he has allergies) that are high in iron. I think baby will lead and that is what you should go for instead of what these so called experts suggest ( and keep changing!). -
Any luck?

I got mine from the chemist near the library , Sadlers Chemist. ( Near Costcutters/Val's/Red Apple) Mine says suitable for Children, Adults and the Elderly. It is in liquid form.

Leaving 9 month old for 4 days?
Dulwich Born And Bred replied to newcomer's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Personally? No I would not go. The fact you are breastfeeding also could be an issue if you have never left baby alone to be fed by someone else via expressed milk for the morning/evening feed. I also think an 15 hours flight is too much at that age, I would want to know I could get home in an hour tops if anything should ever happened. Its your baby, your life so you will do what you feel is acceptable for you.
