Dulwich Born And Bred

I can confirm she is NOT a troll and I know who the person she is referring to is because she has told me although I have never met the man because I do not go in that place, and I can confirm there are other pervy businessmen and staff in Dulwich who I have encountered personally and I am not a troll but naturally I am not emotionally involved with ANY of them and I have never dated ANY of them, I just think they should learn to stop hassling us womanfolks.

I have no problems with that, I am usually very poite and talk to everyone who talks to me, and I hope if they did ask me out and I refused they would not take it personally instead of trying to wear me down and talk me into going out with them! ( yes, happens to lots of women sadly!). Most women would be flattered to be chatted up and I do think it would be good if more men took control and asked ladies out but as I said, time and place and also the ones who don't give up should learn to take the hint and move on. I just need someone I actually LIKE and FANCY to ask me out instead of old pervs, rude boys and married men!

I am sure most of us do not mind being chatted up but there are ways of doing it. With places likes shops, restaurants etc you have to make sure that the person is interested in you before jumping in and asking for a number and then constantly hassle the person everytime they have to enter the establishment otherwise you risk losing a customer. Usually it is pretty obvious if two people have an attraction for each other.

That is the issue here, they insist they are single but of course being as Dulwich is a closed knitted community most of us know via other shopkeepers/locals/friends/family etc that this is not the case and they are in fact married and have kids, and it makes it worse when you find out not only have they chatted you up but also your family members and friends! And I also dislike it when I cannot pop to a local shop because they think it is ok to flirt, well it is not! Oh no, that means my driving lesson will be cancelled AGAIN! It was cancelled Monday and today. Rebooked for Monday. Luckily my scan can go ahead this afternoon since my stairs are clear and my midwife appointment is on Saturday morning, hopefully the sleet on Friday won't be too bad that I will have to cancel my saturday appointment. This weather is great if you don't have to do anything but a bit of a pain if things are constantly cancelled and you have to get out and about. Beside it is does not look too pretty with slush and rain!

Nothing for me or my neighbours on Lordship lane for three days.

Just be very very careful out there, a huge chunk of ice/snow just dropped off my roof onto the neighbours roof and then onto the ground! Was quite scary because it made such a loud noise that the people at the bus stop across the road were looking to see where the noise came from! I am so glad I was not out there putting the recycle things into the bins, I'll think I'll stay indoors! My pavement is a death trap, lots and lots of black ice and on the road which everyone crosses to get to the bus stop. I don't have salt or sand:(

I can't leave my house to attend my midwife appointment because there are lots of narrow concrete stairs leading to the door and onto the footpath and naturally the stairs are not gritted, we only have one hand rail also and it is on the wrong side (there are bushes in the way so the handrail is useless). In 1991 the council gritted our stairs but not this year! It looks really icy outside but the pavements have been gritted.

Wow!! I am so impressed!!! Dulwich has to be the most creative town in the whole of the sarf!

Hopefully it will be a subway sandwich bar( never had a subway sandwich) or a sushi bar!! Not more shops!
