  1. Oh for a lightbulb emotion! One assumes you have reported this troublesome employee to management... a customer service course or two may be all that's needed.:)-D
  2. Markeddie which age group do you fall into?
  3. Depends which side of the Lane you're on. I find going from Dulwich plough to just past the the petrol station at Hornimans both Vodafone and Orange network signals disappear (although notedly Vodafone has improved somewhat over the last two weeks). Coming back that way and you can continue your phone call from forest hill all the way down with no problems... In my experience... although I have just upgraded my Orange phone which seems to get a stronger reception where I work... I shall report back at some point. :p
  4. oooo Youtube has the answers to everything!
  5. Any idea on the statistics on male rape etc? I mean this as a serious question and not to divert from the initial awareness being raised. I am genuinely curious. *edited to reflect last two lines
  6. You are advised they will respond within 5 working days - I'll shall report back later ;-) I wrote a wonderful letter of complaint and bemusement of how a clearly presented letter with a destination of another London address ended up arriving at a Liverpool address... such a kind person who returned the important letter back...
  7. Mefinks ya need to get out more :p

  9. XWP wolves dont bark much :P
  10. I dont think its as bad as all that Annaj. Times do change, new names appear with different words to share (albeit perhaps not in the most pleasant way presented), different thoughts and opinions appear. It happens everywhere. Now I apologise in advance for sounding confusing - the structured thought process doesn't work too well at this time in the morning... I remember when I first started to join in on the forum (after a good while lurking) I found it difficult to fit in as it seemed (to me) that I wasn't of the same grouping - on the same level of intelligence, as quick witted as everyone else and not able to convert my strong thoughts in to words that were understood by others. Whilst generally there was a warm welcoming by the established regular posters there were times when I felt I was still an outsider. I know many of the older regulars here will be thinking what the hell I'm on about but this is the experience I have. As time has gone by and I've made myself quite comfortable joining in as an when online and offline I have noticed the issue still there. Others have accused the forum of being too "cliquey" - whilst I do not necessarily agree with such a statement I can see how that impression may be made to new names and regular lurkers. Again, it happens everywhere. Groups form - the popular, brainy, beautiful, geeky, the silly/norty types etcs. People choose to settle with others they can most relate to. Doesn't bother me who comes along invading and shaking things up a little. If one really loves/needs/wants the forum hiding away and letting those you find have changed the flavour of the place take over is not the best option. If one wants the serious topics of conversation to return... bring it on! :) *edited to ensure particular words weren't misconstrued

Just thank the good lord that snorky's one step ahead of the rest of us!
  12. Quite right... always carry a cricket bat and ball... take a few knee caps out on the way! :)) :)-D >:D

Big enough a deal to feel the need to comment on though eh? ;-) I'm still awaiting for the circular of an apology... Makes me chuckle at a "fund raising" event with expensive fireworks - whether donated or not still the money would have been more appropriate. Even more amusing is the Head's response of not realising the fireworks were of the "banging" variety - surely the school hadn't thought they were getting a few sparklers to wave around. Was a risk assessment not conducted? Do you not need authorisation from a higher power to light fireworks over a particular size and weight? Hardly something to claim you were unaware of what you were getting. *sighs*
  15. cardboard boxes are all the rage these days altho I must stress they do not come cheap...

If so can you do something about my drains? Soz Tone not an M.P or have anything to do with politics (except of the office kind that make me grumble on a daily basis) but I do have connections and can recommend a fairly good not over priced plumber if need be. Pimlico plumbers are certainly NOT on the list :)) I could tell you my line of employment but I may have to kill you afterwards... data protection and all that ;-) :p
  19. Thank you very much for putting that tune in me head... I shall try to avoid bopping down the road on me way home (the police outside parliament think I'm strange enough as it is!)
  20. Now now play nicely...
