  1. I remember it as being a place best avoided when I was little so never went.
  2. I would try the asking them to be quiet route first.
  3. Mostly it's pretty easy to make an informed judgement. However, Nico the plumber is like a whole Scottish Referendum of his own.
  4. Good luck to the new shop. I think people (inc me) are just a bit sad that an old favourite has gone. Sugar Mountain does look nice but I'm unlikely to put my son into a car and drive him up there.
  5. 'Someone referred to the drop in car crime by pointing to the evolution of car security'. Well some friends of mine just had their new BMW nicked. So I guess the miscreants will find a way.
  6. Blackfriars up to Kings Cross is genuinely treacherous. Anything to make that section safer would be great.
  7. I've always found it pretty good. And it does seem to stick to time. Always worth checking on the TFL live bus update thingy.
  8. Maybe not but it does feel better to have a local police presence. Extra vigilance from the general population might be helpful. These swines do seem quite brazen.
  9. Ridiculous situation.
  10. 10 minute walk over One Tree Hill to the lovely Sodo Pizza at Honor Oak.
  11. Feeling gutted that I've lived here for years and never tried Yee Wah :(
  12. The co-op have stopped stocking Zoo and the now deceased Nuts. I think page 3 will eventually just fizzle out of it's own accord. It's just a bit of anachronism.
  13. Plenty of space on that stretch to have lots of tables and chairs outside like Franklin's.

  15. I'd definitely recommend the Paragon ride. The countryside around Kenton and Down is very nice. And not that far to ride really.

The perfect response to all this twaddle.
  17. Ridiculous.. That means you have to take ?4.5k a month before you even start.
  18. I don't think a kid's party at 8am on a weekday is anything to get antsy about. After 10pm a different matter.
  19. Possibly looking for scrap?

  21. I'm sure it won't be empty for long.. Cue lengthy thread of speculation.
