Not really true. In these days of cyber, we all have relationships with people we've never, and probably will never, met. You & PD post daily on the same forum, trade insults, and so on. PD has never had that kind of contact with Lampard. Not saying your general point is wrong, but that particular part was.

Haven't read every post, but. just wanted to say that I think people having child free weddings are selfish gits. They claim "it's because we want you to enjoy yourself". Bol!ocks! Just hope they have kids down the line and are made to feel unwelcome at events. And yes, I genuinely would have said this before having kids, the idea is outrageous to me.

He may well have tried a quiet word for all we know, perhaps he feels that doing it public is his last option (especially when the player seems to crave the spotlight so much). I really don't think Mqncini deserves to be criticised over the Tevez saga, the player wants away, and made his feelings about as public as possible.

Just had another look at Mancini's comments, and I think he was trying to send a clear message to the player to sort it out. No manager wants to sell a player of that quality, but there is only so much you can put up with.
