Suarez handed eight-match FA ban - discuss
Undisputedtruth replied to silverfox's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I shall rise above your tantrums, Silverfox. I can only think that you don't understand racism hence your poorly constructed response to my post. What exactly I don't have a clue about, Silverfox? Oh, you don't think I know about Evra's comment when he said "Don't touch me, you South American." Sorry Silverfox, you really out of your depth if you think that is real racist language. -
Suarez handed eight-match FA ban - discuss

silverfox Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > Where have we gone wrong? > No sure about the we, Silverfox. But the world has moved on while you're ponder your spent years when women were not allowed to vote, homosexuality was an hanging offence and ethnic minorites were treated as sub humans. The Suarez's decision is a recognition that racism cannot and should not be tolerated even on a football pitch. Can you seriously say "sticks and stones" to someone whose love one had committed suicide over taunts just because his/her lifestyle/skin colour was different? The 'opened the floodgates' is another silly red herring. The Football authorities have a responsibility to maintain professional standards throughout the game. Especially as there are young children watching the game. No football player has the right to racially abuse another player. Frankly Foxy, you don't understand racism at all. -
I pointed out the evidence earlier in the thread and they have been mentioned in the media. I've repeated it more than once. Yet Otta had continued with the one man's word against another theme. I'm really surprised by Jah Lush in taking Otta's version of events as I really didn't think he was that gullible. It's your ignorance, Otta, that makes you think I'm making things up. I shall ask you to retract your wrongful statement.

Evra had conducted himself with dignity and it's disturbing to see Liverpool trying to leverage Suarez's position by twisting his fair statement.
-
Whether you accept the verdict is immaterial as a decision was made on the evidence available. It would make sense for Suarez to should accept his lenient 8 match ban and learn to become a model professional...

Looking forward to seeing Balotelli on the telly for his timed run leading to City's goal. City are looking like champions while Arsenal have fully recovered from a bad start to their season. Bring on 2012.
-
I suspect a City win too. They have mobile forwards that would cause endless problems for the Arsenal's slow central defenders.

It was widely known several years ago that free anti-virus software offered a decent level of security. For the paid services, the best of the best seems to change every year. However, virtualisations and sandboxes are the way forward for safe online browsing. There are a few issues I have with Which tests. They don't test all of the products on the market. Sometimes the testing methodology leaves a lot to be desired. Testing results are dumbed down which means you cannot read betweeen the lines. @Peter, although the Microsoft Security Essentials is not a bad product, there are better free ones elsewhere so I don't believe they've cornered the market. Besides, paid AV software tend to be bloated and causeyour system to slow down. Well done Otta for realising now you don't have to pay for good software. Edite: missed out believe

There are cheaper models from different companies elsewhere.

Couldn't really, AM, I was out all day earlier and arrived late for the meal. Must admit, I was a bit puzzled why everyone had a bottle of wine next to them for a period of time. My Physic's teacher had Doctor in his title and I don't think he had medical qualifications either.

Can't think who she meant - other than > you, of > course...heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee My only reget was not reading Dr Medic's words of wisdom as I didn't realise TCC was BYOB. Special thanks to Kerry for looking after me. And as for you, Laddy Muck, I succinctly recall all the rowdiness came from your end of the table.

Speak for yourself Laddy Muck. I was well behaved as per usual!

Good point Bob. These people also risk health problems caused by drinking and I'd imagine Foxy complains they're a drain on NHS resources.

Man City defeat at Stamford Bridge means the race for the premiership is still wide open. I'd say teams like Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Utd all have a shout. Spurs are genuine title contenders and were very unlucky against Stoke. I shall watch the forthcoming transfer window with interest.

Realistically, did Man U ever had a chance in winning the champions league this season? I was impressed with the Barcelona's youngsters and it seems Barcelona FC's name is on the cup again.

I think the whole incident has been blown out of proportion and surprised it has led to her loss of liberty. Yes, her views were racist. But how harmful is this woman to society? She didn't go beyond calling someone Black, Indian or Polish. Funnily enough I was told by a West Indian man in Dulwich to go back to my own country even though I was born in London and both of my parents are West Indian too. I would rather have resources put in to eliminate bile organisations such as the BNP & English Defence League.

I believe the portable hard drives for ?30 are a regional offer and not available in the London area. I'll be grateful if you could prove me wrong as I'm interested in the product.

You're accusing Richard Murphy of being dishonest because you failed to understand the pension tax figures and the point he was making.

Yes, but Carrol can drink lots of alcohol and beat up girls. That's why Liverpool paid ?35 million for him. Next come the human cannibal called Suarez. Then Bellamy with his expertise with the golf clubs. Yep, Liverpool does have an interesting selection of strikers. Well worth the money. :-S
